International Car Forest of the Last Church - VIDEO TOUR (Goldfield, Nevada)
A really cool place to check out! We saw cadillac ranch in Amarillo, TX beforehand and this site was much better with lots of different types of vehicles to see! They have limos, ice cream vans and buses to name a few! Be sure to stop by the The Dinky Diner and Radio Goldfield KGFN, they are really nice and welcoming people!

Address: Goldfield, Esmeralda County, NV 89013
Just outside what was once one of the wealthiest boomtowns in Nevada is another one of the state’s incredible outdoor art installations worth traipsing through. Originally created by longtime Goldfield resident Mark Rippie, the curious exhibit was originally conceptualized an open space, where artists could let their creativity amuck on cars instead of canvases, implementing whatever medium they desired.
Soon after Rippie began to implement his vision, Reno resident Chad Sorg was so inspired by this fascinating space that he uprooted his life, relocated to Goldfield, and currently lives near the property continually creating art.
Thanks to Rippie and Sorg’s uncommon vision, visitors can enjoy this free, one-of-a-kind gallery comprised of over 40 cars, each a unique masterpiece of its own. While some cars are forcefully driven into the ground clawing toward the sky, others are carefully balanced atop each other, as though they could topple over at any minute.
While other outdoor car exhibits can be enjoyed in other states [Like Texas’ Cadillac Ranch or Nebraska’s Carhenge] it is believed that The International Car Forest of the Last Church is the largest in the country. A few minutes off US 95 and wander through the grounds to get a view of the artistic expertise exhibited on the property is well worth your while, lending countless photographic opportunities.
So what’s behind the name? The International Car Forest of the Last Church, which has no artists statement or informational bulletin, is a combination of two ideas: a national forest that people could openly visit, and a nod to Rippie’s website called the Last Church—which details religious theories that want nothing to do with organized religion.
An undeniably interesting roadside attraction, make the International Car Forest of the Last Church a place to jump out of the car [your working car, that is] when traveling through Nevada.

International Car Forest of the Last Church
Welcome to the International Car Forest of the Last Church, located in Goldfield Nevada!
The Forest was the creation of two artists, working toward a dream of being in the Guinness Book of World Records, for the most cars planted in the ground vertically. The Forest is free to visit, where you can go on foot or drive on through. Make sure your car is in good working order - If it breaks down there, it could become an exhibit!
Goldfield was once the largest and wealthiest towns in Nevada, where it boomed from gold mining from 1903 through 1940. During that time, it was also known to be the wealthiest gold mining boomtown in America.

The INTERNATIONAL CAR FOREST(READ DESCRIPTION)
I've been going to Goldfield since I was a kid living in Los Angeles. I've seen so much change in that time, but nothing like the boom of Las Vegas in the early 90's. I'm not really sure when the International Car Forest was made. Though I believe it was built or created in 2005. It has a strange, but true story attached to it. A group came to Goldfield, and basically squatted in 3 trailers, and just took that land. The group organized a church, and I believe it was called the new world church. There was one local that is kinda famous in the Goldfield, and Tonapah area. I'm not going to say hid name, but he was married to a local woman that used to work at the local brothel. Then became the head Maddum of the girls. Then went on to be a huge realtor. They divorced before she became a realtor. This guy has very serious issues with his head, and he lives within shooting distance to the car forest. When I baught the land near the car forest I heard more stories about this guy. I had already heard many bad stories over the years. Like when he captured two burros, and tied them with a rop to his truck to bring them home. One stopped on the 95 frwy, and collapsed. This fool drug the poor burrow on pavement until it died, and just left it there. He's taken many shots with a high caliber rifle, at my friends home, and other homes. On my property before I owned it. A young boy was walking his dog, and this guy started shooting at the dog just feet away from the boy. The police didn't, and couldn't do anything to stop this guy. Everyone in Goldfield thought he was in a witness protection program for going up against the mob. Finally this guy wrote a letter to Harry Reid which was the head senator of the Democratic party. He said he was going to shoot him, and told Harry his name, and where he lived. Within a day 10 black suv's rolled into Goldfield and federal agents surrounded the town. They got him, and thank God for that. The reason why I told this long story is because he helped that church squat the land, and build the International Car Forest. I hope you enjoy this video thank you Christian.

As we drove our little prius up the isolated dusty road, turning our city car into a country off road vehicle, my husband wanted to turn back. It got more and more sketchy in this oddity in the desert as we ventured deeper, feeling like we were entering the set of CSI Las Vegas. Why was this here? Who did this? What was the purpose of this?
This is my Weird Travel Review of International Car Forest Nevada
Just about 3 and ½ hours outside of Las Vegas, on the road to Reno is a little old mining town called Goldfield. Goldfield was once one of the wealthiest towns and has some incredible history but, about 10 minutes off the road is the International Car Forest Of The Last Church. Just one of the truly weird Nevada destinations. It is an outdoor free art gallery, designed originally by a guy name Mark Rippie. Mark is a long time resident of Goldfield with incredible vision. He wanted people to create tag art in any form on junk cars instead of on buildings or canvases.
When people see the photos, many think it is the famed Cadillac Ranch, but, this one is known to be the biggest outdoor open air art gallery. We discovered the International Car Forest Of The Last Church when we were visiting another one of Nevada’s other weird travel destinations – The Clown Motel in Tonapah. Many photographers trapse up the hill to this vast outdoor art gallery to get the perfect weird travel shots, and this is one of my favorite in This is Weird Travel Review of International Car Forest Nevada
After a man by the name of Chad Sorg of Reno saw the vision, he moved out to Goldfield permanently to contribute to The International Car Forest of The Last Church. This was apparently named to this to avoid religion. And apprarently the two that created this have parted ways after a public fight at a party.
There are over 40 cars, trucks, vans, and buses that delicately balance in this car forest, and we. Even discovered what looked like an old weird missile. I highly recommend seeing this for yourself! I also recommend NOT going alone. Bring back up, it is creepy. Click below to book your travel at up to 75% savings, and comment below on the strangest place you’ve ever visited! The International Car Forest of the Last Church is a great site in the small town of Goldfield Nevada. The cars are all sticking up out of the ground and creative artists have painted most of them with colorful grafiti. We shot this video with the Phantom 3 Professional, edited and color graded in Adobe Premiere. This is a UHD 4K Video.

By the way, you have seen a lot of farming in many countries in the world including India. Many countries, including India, depend on agriculture. People sow different types of crops in their fields.
But today we are going to tell you about such a farm, which you have never heard before. There is a place in the world where cars are cultivated.
You will not believe this at all but this is true. According to the news of a website, there is a place in the US where there is no farming of crops, but cars are cultivated. Here a man residing in Goldfield, Nevada, cultivates cars in the hilly areas. Now you might be wondering how can it be cultivated for cars. Actually, a man named Michael Mark Rippah, started using such old cars, which everyone was surprised to see.
Rippi has been doing this for many years, and in 2011 he got another partner. This man, Cad Sorg, hit Rippie's IDA. Together they both have the unique place called 'The International Car Forest of the Last Church,'
There are more than 40 cars in total. Including one or two trucks. Its biggest feature is that all of these cars are mostly blown inside the ground. There are crowds of people here to see these vehicles in the ground.
Looks like it looks like there is someone here who cultivates these cars. These vehicles are growing up in the land itself. Actually, when these cars are dark, they attract people with their strange color.
