Top 10 Hippie Travel Destinations
The sixties may be long gone but the hippies haven't. With alternative lifestyles which embraced peace, love and a whole lot of tripping out, the hippies had a profound influence on culture as we see it today. They still congregate in few corners of the world, practicing the ideals which they believe in and reliving the age which they so adamantly fought to keep alive. We look at some of these places where their spirit roams.

10 Things NOT to Do in Ibiza
Get more Tips here! destinationtips.com
Let’s be honest, most tourists come to Ibiza for its epic party vibe. Although there is plenty to see and do there, there are also a few no-nos to bare in mind. Here are a few things NOT to do in Ibiza.
1. Don’t Buy Tickets at the Door
That’s a rookie mistake. Not only will buying tickets at the door cost you more, but you’ll probably have to stand in line for at least an hour or more (and sometimes you just don’t make it past that velvet rope).
2. Don’t Show Up to the Clubs Before Midnight
Most nightclubs start opening around 10:00 pm, but things don’t really kick into gear until the stroke of midnight (and, frankly, that’s usually when the coolest clubs open).
3. Don’t Forget Your Hand Fan
Having an old-school hand fan to cool you down on the packed dance floor is an essential tip. You can’t count on the air conditioning or sea breezes to keep you comfortable in that mosh pit of sweaty gyrating bodies.
4. Don’t Leave Your Photo ID in the Hotel
You’ll need to show ID at the door to every bar, club and party on the island, so make sure you have some identification with your picture on you.
5. Don’t Sneak Drinks into the Clubs
Just don’t. Commercial venues don’t take kindly to booze smuggling, and it’s not worth it if you get caught. They’ll throw you out and probably ban you from the premises. If you’re really on a tight budget, see tip #10.
6. Don’t Try to Walk Home from Amnesia or Privilege
Playa d’en Bossa is technically in walking distance from Ibiza town (about 40 minutes), However, that stretch has been nicknamed “the road of death” as many stumbling partiers have taken their last steps that way.
7. Don’t Drink the Tap Water
It is safe, but it’s really not very palatable. People complain about high salt and calcium levels, and it also has a high chlorine content and taste.
8. Don’t Avoid Local Transport
The local transportation system is cheap and efficient, and can take you just about anywhere you’d want to go. The Ibiza Bus costs only about €2 and can get you from one side of the island to another.
9. Don’t Sleep on the Beach
For starters, it’s illegal and the police do patrol the coastline for this, so don’t bother trying to camp out on the beach for the night. However, if you plan to party all night and catch a nap on the beach during the day, that’s another thing.
10. Don’t Forget to Pre-Drink
Bolster yourself with a few pre-cocktails so you don’t need to imbibe so much at the expensive clubs. Keep an eye out for the promotional reps out there hustling 2 for 1 drink specials, free shots and the like, too.

MyInspireProject EP5 – Mallorca, A Diverse and Magical Star in Mediterranean Sea for All to Explore
We arrived in Mallorca in spring, an island with turquoise waters, secret coves, lush green foliage, rugged mountains, picturesque villages and a vibrant capital city. It combines history, culture, and alluring beach lifestyle with fantastic natural beauty to create one of the most glamorous spots in the Mediterranean Sea. Besides the sun-drenched beaches, the mountain range is recognized as a World Heritage Site for the ancient agriculture techniques.
What really makes Mallorca the famous travel destination is its versatility. Here, we want to share with you our wonderful week-long journey exploring the lush interior as well as the dramatic coastline on this island.
We started our rural retreat from the interior of the largest island of Spain, surrounded by rich agriculture and farm lands. Then we continued exploring into the north, reaching Fornalutx, an ancient village located deep within the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains, known as the prettiest village in Spain.
After a nice break, we settled into the traditional style townhouse in Soller, and we cruised along the streets in town to admire the architecture and the impressive church of Sant Bartomeu. The attractive old town comes alive on Saturdays when the local market takes place. Soller is also a place where many artists chose to visit and live back in the days. You could easily spot Modernist artworks by Picasso, Miró, Matisse, and more in the museums here.
The must-do in Soller is the ride on the vintage tram that runs from the old town to Port de Soller. The vintage train started the service dating back to 1912 and the journey is an experience itself as it passes through wonderfully scenic countryside before arriving at the lively seaside part of the town. The beautiful natural harbor caters to many beach restaurants and activities such as boat trips and scuba diving.
Speaking of boat trips, we pulled out the yacht with our captain, started viewing the island from a different perspective. We started our beach hopping under the sun from the heavenly Caló Des Moro, composed with turquoise water and hidden white-sand beach; and Cala S'Almunia next door with charming boathouses and caves; Next is the glorious S'amarador beach surrounded by cliffs and pine forests; and there is also Cala Banyalbufar between the steep limestone cliffs and rocks. There are plenty of varieties and characters from each beach indeed.
From the sea level to underground, we entered the Dragan Caves in the east of Mallorca. These caves have formed by water being forced through the entrance from the Mediterranean Sea that may date back to 20 million years ago. The formations and roof details were truly mesmerizing. Before ending the tour with a short boat ride, you would enjoy a concert at the underground Lake Martel with classical music which has been offered since 1935. The entire experience was surreal and unforgettable.
After the adventures, we came to capital, Palma de Mallorca. The night started with the incredible backdrop of the iconic Gothic cathedral, La Seu. The city is vibrant, stylish and intimate, yet bursting with life. We dived into the traditional eateries in the back streets and the seafront of Palma, searching for seafood, Spanish paella and Fideuà. There was no better way to end the day with these amazing gastronomic experiences.
On our last day, we completely felt in love with Dramatic scenery at Cap de Formentor. This wild peninsula has breathtaking view with Cliffs that are 400 metres tall jut into the sea at the northeast tip of the island. We finished our last hike at the mouth of CALA MAGRANER, standing at the edge of the sea receiving energy from the nature and waves. In the meantime, we made ourselves a promise that we would return to this paradise for more.

Barcelona Costa Brava Beach Camp Summer Experience
Don't be a Sun of a Beach. Book Now here -
BARCELONA COSTA BRAVA BEACH CAMP
The Costa Brava is well known for never ending sunshine, first class beaches, the best nature has to offer, wild nightlife, and generally a great time, and in that it doesn’t disappoint!
Sitting on some prime sandy real estate, our new beach camp is on one of the best beaches on the Mediterranean coastline. The Stoke camp is located right on the shore front which makes every day just that much sweeter. A typical day might consist of a little morning beach yoga followed by a homemade breakfast, a dip in the crystal clear ocean, and catching a few rays. In the afternoons we up the anti and get active, we either hit the beach for beach games and beers with amigos, or leave camp to explore the area, take on some watersports, or if you’re feeling particularly cultural then jump on one of our shuttle buses to check our what’s going on in neighboring city, Barcelona!
Feeling super stoked? You can even combine your Costa Brava beach stay with our festival trips San Vino, Running of the Bulls and La Tomatina.
CAMPING STOKE TRAVEL STYLE
Costa Brava might have a gorgeous trail of beaches, but it has an even better trail of bars and clubs. So when the sun goes down, have some beers at the campsite with your new mates before heading out to the nightlife of Costa Brava! If you want to join the group, which you almost surely will, then we’ll either be wondering into town lead by the Stoke crew, who will make sure you get the best drinks deals in the bars, and discounts into the best clubs in the area. Once you’re done for the night it’s a super easy stroll from the center of town back to your own tent to rest your spinning head … assuming that you want to go back to your own tent. If the party group is feeling more adventurous we might head to Lloret de Mar, or even jump on the bus to Barcelona to check out the nightlife scene over there. There’s never a shortage of crazy nights that’s for sure.

Sitges Carnival Fat Tuesday Parade Trips
Join the Party -
Once a year before Lent begins, the beautiful seaside town of Sitges goes bonkers for sequins, feathers, frivolity and Carnival. We’ve never been ones to miss out on a party, and will charter a bus for fill it with sangria, you, fancy dress, face paint, and head to the insanity that is Sitges Carnival 2019!
WHAT IS IT?
The wildest winter fiesta in Spain! Beat the February chill at the hottest party this side of the Atlantic. Carnival is celebrated around the world and Sitges is one of its biggest hotspots to celebrate the Barcelona Carnival in 2019, with 250,000 people flocking to this small coastal town. Sitges Carnival marks the last chance to go absolutely wild and give in to every temptation before the 40 days of Lent begin. This is your chance dress up and get freaky, go all out in sequins, feather boas and body paint, or even put on a mask if you desire.
Sitges is the gay and lesbian capital of Europe, they sure do know how to party. So throw your inhibitions out the window, along with your shirt, and let’s have one heck of a party!
WHY GO TO SITGES CARNIVAL WITH US?
Because we know this party like no one else, we’ve been organising party trips to Sitges for over 10 years, and we want to show you how it is done! We start with the biggest pre-game in town with facepainters, glitter bombs and most importantly a 1 hour open bar available to everyone who checks in early. Then you will get picked up in the centre of Barcelona and dropped off in the centre of Sitges at the perfect time to start the party and get the best spots for the parade. You’ll be lead into the parade by our party guides to the best spot to catch the action, and everyone gets a little bottle of fun juice aka Sangria. Here is the boring but possibly most important part…We bring you back to Barcelona too, so you wont be 1 of the hundreds of people stranded because their tour bus left without them, you wont be waiting in the cold for hours in the queue at the train station, nope you’ll jump on one of Stoke Travel’s fleet of private buses and we’ll get you back to Barcelona safely.
We are officially the Biggest Barcelona to Sitges Party Group! Our group is so large that we have 2 check in times so that we can get you all check in on time. All of the buses will leave between 6-7:30pm.
Check in 1: From 4pm (note the pre purchased open beer bar is only available for this check time)
Check in 2: From 5:30pm
WHY TUESDAY?
The final and busiest day of the carnival is called Fat Tuesday, when the local carnival parade makes its way down the Rua del Extermini in decorated carriages, sporting the campest razzle-dazzle type outfits you have ever seen. Each parade is themed, for example… Rua de la Disbauxa – the Debauchery Parade, on Sunday night and the Rua de l‘Extermini – the Extermination Parade, on Tuesday night. Wild Route Sailing Holiday
Experience a one week sailing holiday in the Greek Islands.
We designed this holiday as a real break from all the rush of modern life. It’s a return to basics, to nature and true interconnection with other people. We will spend a lot of nights at anchor, under the stars and we will chill during the day on remote beaches, accessible only by sea. No cars, no souvenirs shops, no fancy restaurants. Lots of quiet sunsets, crystal clear blue water, late night chats and sailing.
