St. Pete Beach Florida is a beautiful location to celebrate this wonderful holiday. Special thanks to everyone for coming out. The storms rolled in later in the day but we hunkered down and waited them out. The rain gave way to one of the most beautiful sunsets of the season. The fireworks show started shortly after dark around 9:10

It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more. Motor Boating - Lake Mead
Lake Mead is one of the largest reservoirs in the United States it holds up to 4 trillion gallons of water, and supplies water to over 25 million people in the States of California, Nevada and Arizona. The Hoover Dam was completed in 1936 blocking up the Colorado River in the Boulder Canyon. The water level is currently in drought mode but heavy snowfall this year should help fill it up. it is currently 148 feet below capacity at 1085 feet, with a full pool being 1229' which hasn't occurred since 1983. It's Crazy to see how much the water level fluctuates in this huge lake. if the lake level drops below 1075' it is considered drought conditions and they start rationing water in Nevada and Arizona, but not California because they have first priority on the water. If the lake level drops below 950' the hoover dam will lose its ability to generate electricity. in 2015 the completed a pipeline to extract water from a depth of 850'

In this episode of Travel Man Dan I am having an amazing adventure exploring a epic medieval island castle called Trakai!!
This episode was so much fun to film! I absolutely love castles and this one did not dissapoint. First off you will see how beautiful this castle looks from the outside as it sits on a small island just 30 mins outside Vilnius Lithuania. As soon as I walk into the main square you can feel the excitement surrounding me as I feel instantly transported to another time period.
In this episode you'll see how the castle was constructed and the challenging architecture that they built among-st the roof tops and surrounding moats. I get into some trouble as I try out some really crazy torture devices. Then I take you inside the castle walls to explore some great artifacts of daily life that once happened here at the castle. I was amazed at the currency and the silver bars that were used. All throughout this amazing castle you will see some extraordinary stuff like the clothes that were worn, the furniture that was used and the scary fierce weapons that were once used in battle!
I would definitely suggest if you can make it to Lithuania, that you take the trip here to this castle and waltz inside the red brick walls of this 14th century marvel of a building. Or take a small boat and cruise around the lake to just have this beautiful relic in your backdrop-either way whatever or however you decide to explore this awesome castle you will be ecstatic at how wonderful it is.

They are not abused or harassed in any way.Just playing at a speed of about 15 MPH. Far below the 35 they are capable of achieving. Gulf Islands National Seashore offers recreation opportunities and preserves natural and historic resources along the Gulf of Mexico barrier islands of Florida and Mississippi. The protected regions include mainland areas and parts of seven islands. Some islands along the Alabama coast were originally considered for inclusion, but as of 2009, none is part of the National Seashore.

The color of the sand in the region is exceptionally white, as seen in this 1957 photo at Pensacola Beach, Florida, adjacent to the protected area designated in 1971.
The Florida District of the seashore features offshore barrier islands with sparkling white quartz sand beaches (along miles of undeveloped land), historic fortifications, and nature trails. Mainland features near Pensacola, Florida, include the Naval Live Oaks Reservation, beaches, and military forts. All Florida areas are accessible by automobile.
The Mississippi District of the seashore features natural beaches, historic sites, wildlife sanctuaries, islands accessible only by boat, bayous, nature trails, picnic areas, and campgrounds. The Davis Bayou Area is the only portion of the National Seashore in Mississippi that is accessible by automobile. Petit Bois, Horn, East Ship, West Ship, and Cat islands are accessible only by boat. The 4,080 acres (16.5 km2) Gulf Islands Wilderness offers special protection, within the seashore, to parts of Petit Bois Island and Horn Island, Mississippi.
Considerable damage to public infrastructure occurred as a result of storms during the 2004 and 2005 Atlantic hurricane seasons. In subsequent years, infrastructure was fully repaired. All roadways, parking areas, campgrounds, and visitor centers have been repaired and are fully operational. A few trails and associated boardwalks and dune crossovers were still under repair as of late 2010, especially near the Fort Pickens campground.
Pensacola Beach is an unincorporated community located on Santa Rosa Island, a barrier island, in Escambia County, Florida, United States. It is situated south of Pensacola (and Gulf Breeze connected via bridges spanning to the Fairpoint Peninsula and then to the island) in the Gulf of Mexico. As of the 2000 census, the community had a total population of 2,738. Pensacola Beach occupies land bound by a 1947 deed from the United States Department of Interior that it be administered in the public interest by the county or leased, but never disposed; its businesses and residents are thus long-term leaseholders and not property owners.]

The Shell Key shuttle launches several times a day to the small island from the Merry Pier. The nature reserve for birds located just behind the beach. The birds can be observed directly on the beach in search of food. A snorkel goggles and a beach umbrella are included in the price. Shell collectors and sunbathers come here of their costs.
