Scuba Diving Roatan Honduras with West End Divers
Here are some highlights from my return trip to Roatan, Honduras. During the week, we were guided by a few fantastic dive masters and we observed a large variety of marine life.
I shot this using a Gopro Hero 4 Silver (1080P, 60fps, -0.5EV) with Backscatter filters and a Sealife video lights. Edited with FCPX.

Scuba Diving in Roatán, Honduras - July 2019 (4K)
In July 2019, we spent two glorious weeks in Roatán with no kids, diving the South Side with Barefoot Divers, the East End with Dive Pangea and the West End with Jackson's Dive Centre.
We logged 15 dives at a variety of sites that included Tortuga, Calvin's Crack, Coco View Wall, Labyrinth, Dolphin's Den, Jumping Jack, Divemaster's Choice and the Barefoot Palapa, among others.
We also enjoyed a dive at our very own site, named D2T after the divers in our family (Doug, Deb and Téa). The site is halfway between Lita's Hole and Shark Bait Shallow at the entrance to the Mahoghany Bay inside channel.
All underwater video was shot on a Panasonic DMC-LX100 in an Ikelite housing and all topwater video was shot on a GoPro Hero 7 Black.

West End Wall is located at the western tip of Roatan, and provides a great opportunity to swim with loads of schools of fish feeding in the current. A dive at West End Wall can lead you to Texas, one of Roatan's most famous dive areas, and it's definitely not a site to be missed!

A fabulous crew. We felt comfortable, very safe, and had a fabulous time with a great bunch of people! We took our PADI certification with Tony, an excellent Dive Master and teacher, and then dove for the next 10 days! We felt very fortunate to find this place! Did I say we loved it!!

Diving Roatan April 2016
Here's a sampling of what we saw and the fun we had diving during our second week in Roatan, in the Bay Islands of Honduras in the spring of 2016. This was our fourth trip to Roatan, and our third trip diving with Sun Divers, out of West End. It won't be our last time diving with Sun Divers! We also recommend staying at Cocolobo in West End.

The archipelago that comes out from the deep
abyss, extends from East to West in the Honduras
Gulf. It is located in the heart of the Caribbean
and provides the basis for a rich and generous
sea.
At the very end of the west side of the long narrow
stretch of Rotan Island, at the head of the of the
archipelago, there is the West Bay, a stunning
expanse of sand almost as white as snow.
TGI Diving Roatan is a prestigious PADI 5 Star
Dive Center which opened in 1999 and offers
courses from Discover Scuba Diving through
the Instructor Level and also a wide variety
of specialty courses.
The instructors speak Italian, English, French,
Spanish, and German. TGI Diving Roatan organizes
three diving excursions a day. There are regular
night dives on the beautiful reef of Roatan, just
few minutes away from West Bay Beach.
The TGI Diving Roatan scuba program includes
diving in the open water with Carribean Reef
Sharks at the famous Cara-Cara Point, and
