In July of 2013, I partook as a leader in Troop 77's high adventure trip to Isle Royale NP in Michigan. Throughout the week, I shot nearly 60 GB of video with nearly three cards and five batteries. This is my second time to this island of the Superior wilderness. We ferried from Copper Harbor to Rock Harbor, where our 52 mile trek began. We hiked west to the middle of the island and then back east to Rock Harbor. Beautiful nature, wonderful wilderness. Glory to God!
I do not own the music, but all the video and audio I captured while on Isle Royale NP. Feel free to share, but please do not use for personal or professional gain or promotion without permission.

Isle Royale National Park Hike and Lake Superior Boat Ride
Michigan Tech's National Summer Transportation Institute (NSTI) is a two-week residential program that allows students to explore today's transportation industry. During the program students learn about planes, trains, ships, and automobiles through cool hands-on activities and group projects. They toured the Mackinac Bridge Authority and get behind-the-scenes information about the Mighty Mac: the third-longest suspension bridge in the country. They traveled to Sault Ste. Marie and learn firsthand about the largest waterway traffic system on earth—the Soo Locks shipping canal between Lake Superior and the lower Great Lakes. Students also had recreational activities and time spent outdoors in the beautiful Keweenaw Peninsula.

PROJECT: ICE Official Trailer
North America's five Great Lakes -- Superior, Michigan, Huron, Erie and Ontario -- contain a staggering twenty percent of all the freshwater on the planet. 4K resolution digital cinema cameras visit this shared Canadian and American resource that holds a timely and telling story of the profound impact people have had on the very environment they cherish and depend upon.
Formed by ice, filled by ice, and often covered with ice, the Great Lakes encapsulate human exploration, migration, and development. PROJECT: ICE views North America's freshwater inland ocean through the prism of ice, from the crossroads of history, science and climate change.
Ice sits at the heart of it all. PROJECT: ICE reveals an indisputable record of increasing water temperatures and strikingly diminished ice cover. It's an environmental and economic wake up call from the heartland of the United States and Canada.
