WOW WOW WOW!!! Officially dead haha. Hiroshima was so emotional but I learned so much I'm definitely going back my next visit! The deer at Itsukushima shrine were a little more bitey than the ones that were in Nara but still cute none the less. Also I met the sweetest girl there and she's super cool!

Japan Trip To Miyajima Island (Itsukushima Shrine)
Last year we went on a family adventure around 3 countries. One being Japan, a place we love very much. Here are some small clips of our day visiting MIyajima island during our stay in HIroshima.
Japan Shinto shrine named “ ITSUKUSHIMA-JINJA ” at Shinjuku-ku in Tokyo
《 A name of Goddess 》
市杵島姫命 spells in a Kanji ( which came from Old china), but we just call ( express ) it ” ICHIKISHIMAHIME-NO-MIKOTO ” in Japanese from of old because of a Kanji is not Japanese.
Most of Japanese spoken languages and expressions we are speaking is coming from “ YAMATO-KOTOBA ” as “ MANYOH--KOTOBA ” from of old ( about 16,000 years ago ).

JUN. 02-03, 2018
In this episode, Max and I explored Hiroshima and Miyajima. We learned about the tragedy that struck Hiroshima on August 6, 1945 by visiting the Peace Memorial Park and Museum. This was contrasted by the liveliness of Miyajima, where we immersed ourselves in Japanese culture by wearing kimonos and taking lessons in tea-making and calligraphy.
The Hiroshima + Miyajima combo was definitely my favorite part of the trip, so I hope you can see why!
P.S. I was aware of the dry skin around my nose, but I had to blow my nose so often that I stopped caring lol.
Thanks for watching!

Akihabara's Deepest Secret
NOTE: the alley is under construction from June 5th to the middle of July 2017. The shrine is still there but it's prohibited to enter for 5 weeks. It will be here when you come in the summer :)
This spot is one of the great secrets of Tokyo. Hidden just 5 meters from the busiest street in the city lies a shrine dating back to the Edo period. HANABUSA SHRINE or Hanabusa Inari Jinja is a place I first learned about 10 years ago on a location shoot for TV and still to this day, it's still a totally unknown spot. Shhhh! Let's keep it this way.

Hiroshima, Miyajima, and Tokyo - Japan Vlog5
It's impossible to visit Japan as an American without being aware of the US military impact there, none more significant than the nuclear strike on Hiroshima during WWII. In spite of losing 140,000 lives in the attack, the city has proven itself incredibly resilient. From their famous local style of okonomiyaki (with noodles) to their NPB baseball team (the Carp) and the surrounding rivers and mountains, Hiroshima was honestly one of the most beautiful and proud cities we visited on our trip.

Walking around Meiji Shrine - Tokyo - Japan
Meiji Shrine (明治神宮, Meiji Jingū) is a shrine dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his consort, Empress Shoken. Located just beside the JR Yamanote Line's busy Harajuku Station, Meiji Shrine and the adjacent Yoyogi Park make up a large forested area within the densely built-up city. The spacious shrine grounds offer walking paths that are great for a relaxing stroll.
The shrine was completed and dedicated to the Emperor Meiji and the Empress Shoken in 1920, eight years after the passing of the emperor and six years after the passing of the empress. The shrine was destroyed during the Second World War but was rebuilt shortly thereafter.
Emperor Meiji was the first emperor of modern Japan. He was born in 1852 and ascended to the throne in 1867 at the peak of the Meiji Restoration when Japan's feudal era came to an end and the emperor was restored to power. During the Meiji Period, Japan modernized and westernized herself to join the world's major powers by the time Emperor Meiji passed away in 1912.
【4K】Walking on Miyajima (Itsukushima)
Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
I finally went to Hiroshima and Miyajima was the final destination but I decided to make its video the first. I could use here my drone, hope you like it. Accidentally I enabled one of scene modes so that is why colours are so bright I hope it's not that bad.
In this video you may see mud, seaweeds, Miyajima Torii, shrines, shops, people, deer, more deer, and deer feeding. Unfortunately Itsukushima shrine was too crowded and filming was prohibited.
