CHIANG MAI vs CHIANG RAI - LIVING IN THAILAND VLOG (ADITL BTL EP36)
Living in CHIANG MAI VS CHIANG RAI Thailand. We talk about some of the differences that we have noticed having lived in both cities.
After our little road trip we have arrived in Chiang Mai to do some Pet Sitting for our friends while they are on holiday. So you will get to observe first hand what life is like in Chiang Mai in comparison to our farm house in Chiang Rai.
J talks about the '8 miles from home' monthly special video which will be made entirely out of still photos and we do some exploring of our old home town to see if we can discover some new things.
And of course, no 'A Day In The Life' episode would be complete without COFFEE & CAKE! So we visit one of our favourite specialist hidden cafes. Asama Cafe and melt into coffee heaven!
If our videos or blog have helped you in any way and you want to 'say thanks'. We have a little thing set up where you can say thank you with coffee and cake. All that caffeine and sugar helps us to keep making these vids for you guys ;-)

Thailand cycling tour - Chiang Rai countryside and White temple
Half Day Cycling Tour to the White temple, Chiang Rai, Thailand
we begin our cycling through small villages and rice fields and then follow the Lao River downstream. The bicycle ride is pleasant with much greenery due to the proximity of the river. While you are cycling you will discover the real rural Thailand and see the local lifestyle on the outskirts of Chiang Rai. We will cycle past various fruit orchards, rice fields, rubber plantations, and see many teak trees. We will stop and visit the amazing white temple (Wat Rong Khun)
From Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai: A Majestic Trip Through The Mountains Of Thailand
Come on a journey. I got some majestic cinematic footage of the mountains of Thailand as I traveled from Chiang Mai through Chiang Rai all the way to Mae Sai. I was doing a border run to extend my multiple entry visa.

Visa Run from Chiang Mai to Burma Self Drive by car - Tachileik - 8MFH EP6
Visa Run from Chiang Mai to Burma - Episode 6 is about Jmayel & Sachas first Visa Run to Tachileik in Burma. Visa Runs are an unavoidable requirement for most expats in Thailand & most people hate the experience.
However this journey had a much deeper purpose for Jmayel, whose mother is Burmese and left the country over 40 years ago during a time of war and conflict. No-one from his family unit had stepped foot on Burmese soil since that time, Jmayel & Sacha change that fact and mark a new iconic moment in their lives.
Episode 6, Visa Run to Burma will be the first glimpse into what J's family left behind.
8 Miles from Home is a cinematic representation of the lives of Sacha & Jmayel El-haj. Who left their ordinary life in the UK to experience a path unknown in Thailand with their dog Eden.

LIVING IN THAILAND- An Expats Typical Day In Chiang Rai (ADITL Sights & Sounds EP 1)
Living in Thailand, see us as we go about a typical day in Chiang Rai, Thailand.
Sights & Sounds is a series of short 'fly on the wall' style videos showing our expat life in Thailand as an audio visual journey
.
There is no music over the video, you hear what we hear, the sights and sounds of Thailand.
In this 'Sights & Sounds' we top up our drinking water supply, go to a cafe in CR city for lunch and then head home, picking up our laundry on the way.
We then take our Cocker Spaniel, Eden, for a walk in the farms surrounding our house.

Enough is Enough ....... YOUTUBE FAIR USE DISCLAIMER
Enough is Enough is Enough. My fellow Americans and Expats in Thailand. After multiple conversations from Expats in Bangkok, Phuket, Kamala, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Khon Kean to name but a few, with over 20 Expats and 5 Thai Nationals, willing to legally fund this exposure, we intend to bring justice.
An individual fellow American in Thailand who feels fit to commit crimes by causing alarm harassment and distress to individuals, the same individual who has
violated Royal Thai Law Lèse-majesté, the same individual who is working as a self-proclaimed investigating journalist without a work permit or press card, plus operating an investigating broadcast live show acting as an unofficial Thailand based journalist based on a YouTube platform without a broadcasting licence or work permit as a cohabitant in Thailand but broadcasting with intent to investigate.
The same individual living in Thailand under false pretences of an O visa based on marriage, despite in his own admission, the marriage is over. Plus assuming education with an undisclosed visa. (we are not really intersted in that fact that his wife was covered in bruises on video, we are not interested in him visiting Kamala causing trouble to a Thai national and her husband, we are not interested in his abandonment of his young children in the US)
We are only interested in Lèse-majesté which is compelling thanks to historic Videos from the individual with the same channel name on the videos (which he claims he never had).
We, an incomparable strong group of Expats in Thailand, United to peace, hereby declare, that it our intention to provide the Thai Authorities with all the evidence, proving Lèse-majesté did in fact take place. Between us, we have enough information and money to put this case together. Aside from habitating Expats here, we have recently had a few fellow visitors who have also given us support.
Having spent the past 6 months collating information on this individual, it is our intention that we can now prepare the compelling evidence translated into Thai via the Government translation service BKK, presenting transcript evidence and documentation, screen shots, YouTube channel videos, social blade of old accounts, videos of the individual videos under the offending channel name, web history evidence displaying join dates, video uploads and full transcripts detailing compelling evidence.
Although individual YouTubers have been putting out this information displaying screenshots, whoever he/she is, we feel it’s now time to take real action.
Furthermore, we, United Expats Thailand, have all agreed and decided to sign the LEGAL document of disclosure against the individual.
Thailand is normally a peaceful place for Expats, since October 2016, we have been plagued by a fellow American who feels fit to abuse, harass and ridicule the nationals of Thailand and expats from around the world looking to have a peaceful retirement and living in Thailand.
We are not interested in the individuals background, who they are running away from, who they are avoiding back home in the states, what we are interested in is putting a stop to the individual and we have compelling evidence of Lèse-majesté and at the same time defamation to Thai Nationals.
We will now pursue a legal conviction for Lèse-majesté notwithstanding all of the above observations which will be brought to the
attention of the Royal Thai Police and Immigration.
Enough is Enough, In respect of the late King, his people, expats and a deceased fellow allie of the UK who was ridiculed and harassed in such a vile way whilst he pleaded with his life on a hospital bed before he died in hospital. , TRUST IN US, we WILL SUCCEED. We will not give up now.
Nobody involved in this network will admit it. That is our promise, so therefore there are no name callings.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: We. Expats United are not claiming any allegations, all we are doing is providing the RTP and Immigration Police the facts as set out by the Offender and his YouTube Historic Channels. We, therefore, are not accountable :)
