The Royal Paradise Hotel & Spa, Phuket Thailand (2020)
Welcome to my video.
i hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
Reason for 3/5 Rating:
- Reception Staff was not very friendly and does not understand English very well.
- The lifts takes very long and would close on you before leaving or entering the lift which hurts you.
- We asked for a non smoking room and got booked into a smoking room.
- The swimming pool closes early (07:00 PM)
- Breakfast Buffet was the same every morning (no new dishes the next day)
- Upon arrival we were supposed to check in at 10:00 (had express check in) but our room was only ready at 15:00.
- Toilet Paper/Drinking Water was not replaced every day (had to request for this).
- No shower and the bath was very small and dirty.
- Very noisy at night (as it's close to all the party streets)
Other than this, had a great experience. Pool is great, views are great. Rooms great.

First Time in Phuket
Never miss a chance to go on a vacation with your family and relatives. 3 weeks ago I had a chance to travel to Phuket with my family and it was a well spent 3 day trip. I was amazed how beautiful the island was and if I have a chance to go back, I would definitely go! There’s more to see in this island.
Now, I’m contemplating where and when will be my next trip.
Have a good one! xoxo

A Drive from Karon Beach to Big Buddha, Phuket, Thailand ( 2 )
Phuket's Big Buddha is one of the island's most important and revered landmarks. The huge image sits on top of the Nakkerd Hills between Chalong and Kata and at 45 metres high it is easily seen from far away. It is 25 Metres at the base.
The lofty site offers the best 360 degree views of the island. Easily reachable via a six kilometre road leading from Phuket's main artery, it's a must visit island destination.
The Big Buddha or Prahputtamingmongkol Eaknakakeeree an official name given by the supreme patriarch of the Buddhist Church, the project was conceived by a group of local Buddhist called Prahputtamingmongkol Sadtah 45 Foundation in 2002. With the intention to make it the palladium of Phuket and a tribute to His Majesty the King.
After plenty of wrangling and red-tape, building began just a few months after the tsunami, allowing the island to focus on the future instead of the past. Being built atop a wonderfully chosen plot, overlooking the bays of Chalong, Kata, Karon and indeed most of the southern half of Phuket, the Big Buddha placement could not have been better. The serenity and calmness which is present at the footholds of the statue is fulfilling enough, even without the incredible views.
The monument has only ever been funded by donations from the public, Thai nationals from other provinces and overseas offerings, so therefore its expected completion date for King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 80th birthday in 2006 was a little premature. Un-phased, work has carried on ever since and is drawing to a conclusion.
The trip up to the Big Buddha offers a wonderful insight into the quaint Thai villages before reaching the top of the summit. It's the peacefulness that hits you the hardest. The only sounds you hear are the national flags flapping in the breeze and birds singing. Occasionally, firecrackers are thrown into a large cement chimney to warn off evil spirits, and that just shows the wonderful spontaneity of Thai Buddhism.
As plans for the Big Buddha were drawn up over a decade ago, some 80 million Baht has been pumped into the building work. Being 150 ft high and having a base spanning 80 ft, the colossal cross-legged statue is no shrinking violet. The glinting Burmese marble tiles have been painstakingly fitted and show just how much passion, dedication and workmanship has gone into the creation. To some devotees of the Buddhist religion, having Buddha gazing down across the land gives them a protection and acts as a reminder of their faith every day.

Phuket Trip
A trip booked in advance to celebrate Caleb's birthday (his secret idea) and a pre-enlistment trip for myself together with the people that i met/known 10 years ago.
This trip was crazy as there were thrilling encounters such as turning the whole villa upside down to find a car key till being slammed up and down by the speedboat mercilessly.
All in all, this trip was made possible due to everyone's efficiency and cooperation. Thank you guys! I look forward to the next trip in future.
