Our visit to the Jack Sisemore RV Museum Amarillo, TX
We stopped by to see the 'Happy Max', the Gornicke's RV from the Robin William's movie 'RV', and were pleasantly surprised by all that this vintage RV museum had to offer. Located in Amarillo, TX, at the Jack Sisemore RV dealership, this museum was packed with RVs, motorcycles, bicycles, camping equipment and much more! The fun part about it was being able to climb inside the RVs to get a real feel for what it might have been like camping and living in these beauties.

OTPWR Ep 10 - Amarillo - Cadillac Ranch - Harrington Discovery - Palo Duro - Full Time RV Living
Hi all. Thanks for watching our channel about full time RV travel. We are a four person family living full time on an RV traveling the country while working a full time job and homeschooling our two teenagers along the way. We also have 3 dogs along for the ride in our tiny home. We typically move to a new location every week to explore and visit educational places while in town. We want to give our kids a fantastic understanding of this diverse country so they will know where it is they would like to land when they are eventually out on their own as young adults. We hope you enjoy following our adventures!
In today's episode, we put the stabilizers down in Amarillo, Texas the home of the famous Cadillac Ranch where Cadillacs from the 40's, 50's and 60's were planted in the dirt in the middle of a farm field. People from all over the world stop to view and add their own artist's touch to this unique art installation. Jen and Sedona take a science field trip to the Don Harrington Discovery Center to learn about and play with their interactive displays. We also found the Jack Sisemore Traveland RV dealer and museum. This place is full of well-preserved RVs from the dealership owner's personal collection. This is a must stop for anyone even slightly interested in RV travel. The best thing is that you can walk inside and explore most of them, but don't eat the gumballs! Go find Jack and chat with him if you can. He's an interesting guy. As the sun was starting to fall for the evening, we managed to get out to Palo Duro Canyon to take a ride in and see what it was all about. That was a quick trip, but we're glad we made it before nightfall. Amarillo provided many fun things to see and discover!
