Ledreborg Palace / Castle and Park - Ledreborg Slot - Denmark
Ledreborg is a palatial mansion near Lejre, 12 km (7.5 mi) to the southwest of Roskilde on the Danish island of Zealand. Today's Baroque building was completed in 1746. Today Ledreborg Palace is one of Denmark’s finest examples of 18th century architecture and landscaping, its main building comprising of a unique collection of original furniture and paintings. The family resides on the ground floor of the palace, while the first floor, with its virtually unchanged 250-year-old original interior is open to the public during the summer months and for special occasions.
Every August since 1994, the Danish National Chamber Orchestra holds popular concerts of film music and musicals in Ledreborg Park which enjoys exceptionally good acoustics.
Borreby Slot (Castle) Skaelskor - West Zealand
A quick stop at this castle where they have a huge garden that is open to the public as well as the castle grounds. This is not royalty living here, but a rich landowner. This day they hunted pheasants and you can see the results. Never have I seen that many pheasants in the wild as I did in West Zealand.

To my viewers in Canada and around the world, I am making videos about different cities in different countries; this time, I am making videos about Copenhagen, which the last Danish city about which I am promoting. I was walking from the Christiansborg Palace, which is the seat of the Danish parliament to the Jewish Museum. I don't know anything about this museum, but what I have heard is that two - three centuries ago, Jews were treated like second class citizens by the Danes and they were fighting for their rights to be treated with dignity.

Frederiksborg Castle
Frederiksborg Castle (Danish: Frederiksborg Slot) is a palatial complex in Hillerød, Denmark.
It was built as a royal residence for King Christian IV of Denmark-Norway in the early 17th century,
replacing an older castle acquired by Frederick II and becoming the largest Renaissance residence in Scandinavia.
Situated on three islets in the Slotssøen (castle lake), it is adjoined by a large formal garden in the Baroque style.
After a serious fire in 1859, the castle was rebuilt on the basis of old plans and paintings.
Thanks to public support and the brewer J. C. Jacobsen,
the building and its apartments were fully restored by 1882 when it was reopened to the public as the Danish Museum of National History.
Open throughout the year, the museum contains the largest collection of portrait paintings in Denmark.
It also provides visitors with an opportunity to visit several of the castle's state rooms including
the restored Valdemar Room and Great Hall as well as the Chapel and the Audience Chamber which were both largely spared
by the fire and contain sumptuous decorations.
