The Miramar Monastery, Mallorca, Spain
Monestir de Miramar is placed not far Valldemossa and Deià. It has awesome landscape and stunning view over the Mediterranean Sea and Mallorca's west coast. Monestir de Miramar was founded by King Jaume II ( the first King of Mallorca) by a request of Ramon Llull in 1276. It was not only a monastery but a missionary college dedicated to the teaching of Arabic and other oriental languages. The Archduke Ludwig Salvatore of Austria (1847-1915) (the second cousin of Emperor Franz Joseph) bought this property in 1872.
Ramon Llull (1232-1315) was a Mallorcan writer, philosopher and mystic. He is considered to be one of the most influential authors in the Catalan language. He established the Catalan language in its written form.

Palma, Spain 2016 Trip | Part Two | with Alif and Crystal
WARNING: contains very shaky camera work (particularly throughout Crystal Cam)
Spent eight days (6/4/16 - 13/4/16) in Palma de Mallorca, Spain with Alif & Crystal (detailed-ish description under music creds). Very impressed with myself for being able to condense 8 days worth of footage into 45 minutes. Vid is divided into parts because 45 minutes is way too long - (it'd be as long as an episode of an American TV show)

Part two consists of days 5 to 8 of our days in Palma.
Day Five - went on a trip to visit Bellver Castle (Crystal's home) ft. a lot of is this picture straight enough for Azim's approval?, looking for Christiano, and a bizarre preaching session from Crystal about stealing other people's husbands.
Day Six - visited the Palau March Museum (Aainaa's place), and a quick walk around the Jardins S'hort del Rei, a small cute garden not far from the museum.
Day Seven - our last day of having food from the Canteen, and having the delicious gelato from Giovanni's. Visited the Mallorca Museum (which unfortunately does not allow photography or videography), and then went to the Festival Park Outlets, where a cluster of outlet stores are arranged beautifully, ready to be visited.
Day Eight - our last day in Palma basically just consisted of us leaving our apartment and then leaving the airport (which I love btw it's such an empty airport its void of both people and anxiety) to come back to England.
Thank you for having us Palma! x

Valldemossa (Video-3/Rainy day) , Mallorca, Spain
A beautiful old town in north-west Majorca sits on the slopes of the Tramuntana mountains. The town gained some sort of fame when Polish composer Frederic Chopin came and stayed at the Carthusian monastery (Cartoixa Reial) with his lover George Sand in the winter of 1838-39. The composer had tuberculosis but still managed to produce some of his best work here while Sand wrote a book called A Winter in Majorca.

Places to see in ( Andalusia - Spain ) Carmen de los Martires
Places to see in ( Andalusia - Spain ) Carmen de los Martires
Carmen de los Mártires is a 19th-century construction made up of a palace building and vast gardens; a French Baroque garden with a large pond, which has a statue of Neptune in the centre and is surrounded by other statues that symbolise the four seasons; an English-style garden, the Palmeras Garden, with a three-tier fountain and irregular squares of hedge and with palm trees; the Spanish Garden, removed in 1960; the Paisajista Garden; the Lake - an irrigation pond that the vegetation tries to hide, making it look like a real lake, surrounded by two islets - the smallest for ducks and swans, the largest is a garden with hedges and a stone jetty with fake medieval ruins; the Nasrid Patio, built in 1944, which imitates the typical elements of Nasrid gardens; the wood-maze that served to join up the gardens.
Carmen de los Martires is a romantically dishevelled 19th-century gardens and a restored mansion much in use for posh weddings reside on the site of the splendidly named Convent of the Discalced (barefoot) Carmelites.
Carmen de los Martires is a nineteenth century country house (carmen) with a canal, grotto and walls in the Moorish style. For northern visitors, it is interesting to see an example of the Mixed Style in the south. It is planted with palms and citrus trees and draws eclectically from other periods in garden history.
