Fēi lái fēng (Peak Flying from Afar) and Ling Yin Temple (Soul's retreat Temple)
According to the record of Lingyin Temple, early in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (317-420 AD), the Indian Monk Hui Li came to Hangzhou and climbed the hill. On seeing the spot, he exclaimed, That's the peak on the vulture's hill at Mid-Tianzhu, whence has it flown here? Hence, the peak got the name Peak Flying from Afar. In 1681, Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty wrote the three characters Fēi lái fēng (Peak Flying from Afar) inscribed on the stone cliff.
Lingyin Temple was first built in 326 AD by the eminent Indian monk Hui Li. With its imposing and magnificent architectural structures, the Temple has remained one of the ten largest Zen Buddhist temples in China. The Temple consists of the Heavenly Guardian Hall, the Hall of Mahavira (Great Hero), the Hall of the Buddha of Medicine, the Hall for Five-Hundred Arhats, the Sutra Repository etc.

Lingyin Temple is a Buddhist temple of the Chan sect located north-west of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. The temple's name is commonly literally translated as Temple of the Soul's Retreat.
Hangzhou West Lake's Yue Fei Temple / 岳王庙
The Yue Fei Temple / 岳王庙 or commonly known in Chinese as Yuewang Temple / 岳王廟 is a temple built in honour of Yue Fei, a general of the Southern Song dynasty who fought against the Jurchen Jin Dynasty during the Jin–Song wars, after the capital of China moved south to Hangzhou. The temple ground is located near the West Lake, in central Hangzhou.

The temple was first constructed during the Song Dynasty in 1221 to commemorate Yue Fei. The site includes Yue Fei's Temple, Loyalty Temple and Yue Fei’s Mausoleum inside. The temple was reconstructed several times in later date. The tombs and the tomb sculptures in the temple all date from the 12th century, and have been meticulously restored.

Hangzhou Jingci Temple was built in AD 954. Its name changed to Jingci Temple during Southern Song dynasty. The Temple is located at the foot Nanping Hill on the south bank of West Lake opposite Leifeng Pagoda. in Hangzhou It was home to Jigong, a legendary monk after he left Lingying Temple. The new Jigong Temple was re-built in 2015 after a fire destroyed it in 1932.
It is one of ten Scenes of West Lake, Evening Bell Ringing at the Nanping Hill (南屏晚钟).

Tre luoghi che si affacciano sul lago Xi (Lago occidentale) di Hangzhou. Purtroppo la Pagoda Lei Feng è una costruzione di qualche anno fa, visto che quella antica (di cui si possono ancora osservare le fondamenta all'interno della Pagoda nuova) è crollata. Ma in compenso in cima si può ammirare un panorama niente male.
