Since the founding of the city, the downtown area was prone to flooding, hindering travel, damaging and destroying businesses and the buildings they were housed in. As part of the flood remediation program, the city elected to construct Founders Park. The park is designed to retain rising waters from heavy rains. An engineering feat, the park floor was raised above the creek bed, and retention walls were constructed to allow the rising water a place to go. The park is home to several sculptures placed there by a local art committee, and hosts live music, food truck junctions, and the popular Blue Plum Festival. The park also borders the newly constructed Farmers Market, Wild Wing Cafe, and Yee-Haw Brewing company.

Alcoholic Beer Review #10: Yeehaw's Dunkel Dark Lager
***4.0 stars***
You can automatically assume that the Dunkel is Yeehaw's bread and butter. One hundred times better than the Yeehaw Eighty. Caramel and cocoa make this a stellar lager
5.5% abv. 25 IBU. A 6 pack of 12 ounce cans goes for $11.99. Not a bad deal at all.
Johnson City, TN, is NOT the AIDS capital of the world. It's not even the AIDS capital of Tennessee. Memphis is the AIDS capital of Tennessee. Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is the AIDS capital of the United States. South Africa is actually the AIDS capital of the world. Sorry for making that mistake in my beer review for the Yeehaw Eighty!
It's a great beer to drink with a sandwich or any other meal. Very rich and flavorful.
