World most Advanced Japanese Water Treatment Plant | Kagoshima | Japan
Water Treatment plant made in 1965. Water treatment plant is producing purified drinkable water directly from tap. There are only 12 countries all over the world which has tap drinkable water, Japan is one of them. Kagoshima water power plant is accommodating 40% requirement of the city by producing 500 pools of water every day. whole procedure of water filtration and purifications is keenly observed and performed in a controlled high- tech environment. We started by a detailed lecture given by plant engineer. He briefly explained all the steps involved in water purifications in lab. Then he took us to all the physical sites of plant to have in-field experience. Furthermore, we have seen control room and high-tech environment where water analysis is performed in real time to keep an eye on water purification process on each step. We are very thankful to the whole team from the plant on such a wonderful visit.
Power plant has following procedure for water purifications:
1. Water from the river is directly pumped and stored in the storage tank.
2. Addition of chemicals and screening is performed.
3.This screening helps to form the flocks, which settles at the bottom and removed.
4. Then water is passed through sediments layers which acts as a filter.
5. The last step is to do chlorination which further purifies the water.

Japan Trip 2010 - Minamata Civil Disaster Centre (Our Experience)
During our trip to Kyushu (Japan) in 2011, we visited the Minamata Civil Disaster Centre. The Japanese take civil disasters seriously. There was an simulators which allowed a visitor to experience the effects of an earthquake and typhoon (and follow the standard safety procedures). The centre allows visotrs and students to practice putting out a fire with real water against a computer generated image sensor-board. This offers realistic feedback as to whether 'your fire-fighting' team did manage to put out teh fire correctly by aiming at teh base of teh fire. Enjoy !

Investing in Nature at the Golden Jubilee Museum of Agricult
HSBC, in partnership with WWF Thailand and the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, are rolling out an initiative for environmental conservation. The Bank is launching its HSBC Garden project on an 80 rai plot of land at the Golden Jubilee Museum of Agriculture, Pathumthani province. The project aims to strengthen the Nature Education and Learning center, which specializes in ecologically friendly agriculture. Ubatuba is known as the Capital of Surf and features 70 beaches that please all types of tourists.
Itamambuca is the right place for those who are looking for the best waves in the area. It is home to national and international championships, in addition to flirting and beautiful people on the sand. Travelers who prefer a peaceful environment and a place to open up their parasols and enjoy the view, Picinguaba or Almada beaches are the best choices. Weizhou Island is located in Guangxi Beihai city is 21 miles south of the sea, 36 km from Beihai City, is the youngest volcano island Chinese, is Guangxi's largest island. To have a bird's-eye view, Weizhou Island as a bow shaped emerald floating in the sea.
SEA Aquarium Singapore - Open Ocean & Ocean Dome
One of the newest attractions in Singapore - the world's largest aquarium! This massive Open Ocean acrylic tank is 36 metres in length & 8.3 metres in height, with a 0.70 metre thickness, 1500 sq metres, 18 million litres of water (volume of 7 Olympic-sized swimming pools!). Catch the Giant Manta Ray, Napoleon Wrasse, Batfishes, Honeycomb Ray, Spotted Eagle Ray, Javanese Cownose Ray, Shovelnose Ray, Bowmouth Guitarfish, Pufferfish, Queensland Grouper..... and many more....
Also the Ocean Dome is 9 metres in diameter and replicates a sea mount (underwater mountain).
You can see windows behind the tank, these are Ocean Suites (hotel rooms!) overlooking the tank!! How cool is that!
