Slideshow; Kansas Motorcycle Museum, Marquette, Kansas
From my recent visit to this great little museum in the middle of Kansas that I stumbled upon last year.
From the museum website; The Kansas Motorcycle Museum is home to over 100 vintage and rare motorcycles of all various makes and models. It also has numerous motorcycle racing memorabilia, photos, posters, and much, much more!
The museum was started in 2003 as a local tribute to Marquette's own motorcycle racing legend and FIVE TIME National Racing Champion, Stan the Man Engdahl. On display are over 600 trophies Stan won and his legendary Harley Davidson custom-built racing motorcycle he rode during his motorcycle racing career which spanned six decades from the 1940's to the 1990's. While Stan unfortunately passed away on November 12, 2007, Museum volunteers continue to keep the museum open seven days a week.
Additions have been completed to the museum including public restrooms and new display areas.
The Kansas Motorcycle Museum is located on the southeast corner of Washington (the main drag) and Third Street in downtown Marquette, KS. It is open year round, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and Sundays, 11:00 - 5:00 p.m. The Museum is also open most holidays, but please call ahead to make sure someone is there. Special group tours are available by appointment by calling (785) 546-2449. The museum is handicap accessible. Admission is free, but donations are always welcome.

Barber Vintage Motorsport Museum pt 3
George Barber had a serious interest in vintage motorcycles and recognized that there was no museum that reflects the history of motorcycles around the world.[8] He wanted to preserve motorcycle history in the United States in a way that represents an international aspect and to supply an example of motorcycles that until then could only have been seen in books and magazines. The Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum began in 1988 as Barber's private collection.[9] However, in 1994 it officially opened to the public in Birmingham, Alabama. The Museum was relocated to the Barber Motorsports Park in 2003.
The museum has over 1450 vintage and modern motorcycles and racing cars. It is considered the largest motorcycle museum in the world,[10] as well as the largest collection of Lotus race cars.[11][better source needed] The motorcycle collection includes bikes dating from 1904 to present production. About half of the 1200 motorcycles on display at any given time, from 16 countries that represent over 140 different marques from as far away as Australia, New Zealand, and Sweden.

National Motorcycle Museum Virtual Visit
Not long ago we went Uraling to the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa, Iowa. We were given permission to video and share it with you guys. I did my best with the new Canon 80D and I think as the video progresses the panning and zooming gets smoother. I didn't play with the settings too much, could probably go back and do a much better job now, but it is an impressive place none the less.
I tried to get you a wide range of music to enjoy the awesome collection by, but if you don't like it feel free to hit mute and play your own music. You won't miss anything there is no narration for that reason.
The collection itself, just wow. Incredible collection of both owned and loaned bikes on hand. The descriptions are fairly completed, not like some other places we've been where we're trying to figure out what something is. The people are friendly too and there is reserved motorcycle parking right up in front. When we arrived there was hardly anyone there so it made for great video.
