KAPITI COAST / PAEKAKARIKI TRAM (2017)
Die Kapiti Coast Electric Tramway ist eine 1,8km lange Straßenbahnstrecke, welche dem dort gelegenen Straßenbahnmuseum gehört. Nach der Stilllegung der Straßenbahn in Wellington um 1964 wurde bis zum Folgejahr dieses sehenswerte Museum aufgebaut, welches bis heute sehr liebevoll die Geschichte der einstigen Hauptstadtstraßenbahn am Leben erhält. Dieses Video konzentriert sich dabei auf den historischen Fahrverkehr auf der Strecke, welche bis an die Küste führt. Gefahren wird alle 30 Minuten...dies allerdings nur bei Bedarf, was entsprechend größere Pausen bei der Erstellung dieses Films mit sich brachte.
