Berlin Kayaking the Spree in the Osthafen (Eastern Habor) Juli 3 2013
On July 3 th I made a short roundtrip in the former Berliner East Harbor next to the Badeschiff - a fancy pool swimming in the Spree river, passing the Hoppetosse, a party and restaurant ship, making an slalom ride through the former GDR border foundation and paddling through the Molekule Man, an art work of Jonathan Borowsky. Than I went back to the northern side with the new buildings of MTW and the NHow hotel further to the Oberbaumbridge and back to the Badeschiff, Duration 35 min. Nice music and party atmosphere because the fashion week was on. Tom

This trip was planned for a friends birthday . Presents can be difficult so this was the solution . Kayaks Berlin do many trips .This is the longest and it is terrific . One sees the city from another perspective .I didn't want to risk my good camera so took an old one where sadly I had completely forgotten how to do video The stills are enough to give an idea . It's made me want to do more of this pastime and invest in an action cam .If you visit berlin I can really recommend this firm ... Well run and fun .
