Paddling up the Anahulu (Haleiwa) River from Tsue's Farm (North Shore, Oahu) LookIntoHawaii.com
Fun paddle up the Anahulu River launching from Tsue's Farm in Haleiwa. We took the kayak upstream watched the turtles travel with us. Then we paddled under the iconic Rainbow Bridge.
Finally after our trip, we ate delicious shrim, chicken, and kalua pig plate lunches at Tsue's Farm. A perfect day.

Oahu Interscholastic Association Paddling Regatta #3 Dec 29, 2018
This urban beach park is located next to the Honolulu International Airport. Ke'ehi Lagoon (see more photos) is a great place for canoeing and boating since the waters are usually calm in the protected lagoon. Many canoe clubs do their practice session here and outrigger canoe regattas take place from time to time. However, the man-made beach is not suitable for swimming, snorkeling or surfing.
There is a large grassy area with soccer, baseball, softball and cricket fields, tennis courts, a pavilion and restrooms. In the weekends, the park is often times used for family gatherings since it's a good place to barbecue. When outrigger canoe races take place here, many paddlers as well as spectators come to the park.
Even though the beach park is located on a major highway, the views over to neighboring Sand Island and the city are nice. And since the park is located right next to the airport, one can see many planes take off and land from up close.
Located within Ke'ehi Lagoon are several tiny islands. One of them is Mokauea Island. Encompassing a mere 10 acres, this tiny spit of land is the site of Oahu's last Hawaiian fishing village (and one of two left in the entire state of Hawaii). The non-profit organisation Ho'ola Mokauea has been working to environmentally and culturally restore Mokauea Island.

Places to see in ( Oahu - USA ) Haleiwa
Haleʻiwa is a North Shore community and census-designated place in the Waialua District of the island of Oʻahu, City and County of Honolulu. Haleʻiwa is located on Waialua Bay, the mouth of Anahulu Stream. (also known as Anahulu River). A small boat harbor is located here, and the shore of the bay is surrounded by Haleʻiwa Beach Park (north side) and Haleʻiwa Aliʻi Beach Park (south side). Further west from the center of town is Kaiaka State Recreation Area on Kiaka Point beside Kaiaka Bay. As of the 2010 census, the CDP had a population of 3,970.
It is the largest commercial center on the North Shore of the island. Its old plantation town character is preserved in many of the buildings, making this a popular destination for tourists and residents alike, visiting surfing and diving sites along the north shore. The U.S. postal code for Haleʻiwa, including Kawailoa, is 96712.
Haleʻiwa is located at southwest along Kamehameha Highway (State route 83) from Pūpūkea. At Haleʻiwa, Kamehameha Highway becomes state route 99 (at the traffic circle known as Weed Circle), which runs eastward up across the Oʻahu central plateau to Wahiawā. A new bypass route (Joseph P. Leong Highway) avoids both the traffic circle and Haleʻiwa, extending state route 83 to just north of Haleʻiwa town. Haleʻiwa Road and both Kaukonahua Road and Waialua Beach Road from Weed Circle go south and southwest into Waialua across Paukauila Stream.
The historic Rainbow Bridge over the Anahulu River marks the northern entrance to old Haleiwa Town. There you will find small shops, eateries and many galleries. Two beach parks surround the small boat harbor located in Waialua Bay, Haleiwa Beach Park located to the north and Haleiwa Alii Beach Park located to the south. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.0 square miles (7.7 km2). 2.3 square miles (5.9 km2) of it is land, and 0.69 square miles (1.8 km2) of it is water. The total area is 23.67% water.
Matsumoto's Shave Ice, a local island favorite, is located in Haleiwa town and sells Oahu's most popular shave ice. It has been open for over half a century, and is open seven days a week from 9:00AM to 6:00PM. Haleiwa Beach Park provides a plethora of possibilities including surfing lessons which are offered year round by Uncle Bryan's Sunset Suratt Surf School and the North Shore Surf Girls and is walking distance from shopping, eating and sightseeing in historic Haleiwa Town.

Oahu Island is home to roughly one million people - about two-thirds of the population of the U.S. state of Hawaii. The city of Honolulu, largest city, state capital, and main deepwater marine port for the State of Hawaiʻi is located here.
Well-known features found on Oʻahu include Waikiki, Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, Hanauma, Kaneʻohe Bay, Kailua Bay, North Shore.
I spent five days on Oahu Island, drove 340 miles by car and visited, incl. the places described below. My hotel was in Honolulu.
