Each of the relaxation of the day seemed to look to other people and even show off the grandeur of the mountains enjoy floating in the sea! Ocean flashes as a place strewn like transparent bead seemed to welcome them. Shallow water and moderate waves as swimming and windsurfing, and kayaking here in paradise, Kailua! In the near beaches surrounded by coral reefs, safe from the big waves do, Kayak's best attractions to enjoy. Now people dragged the kayak towards the sea! Top 5 favorite Hawaii kayaking spots
BY MEGHAN MINER FEB 3, 2015
Hawaii’s waterways are ripe for exploring by kayak—whether you prefer to meander down sleepy waterways through dense green jungle, visit waterfalls, take a leisurely morning paddle through the calm clear waters of a bay, or experience an adventurous jaunt alongside rugged sea cliffs.
#4
Napali Coast
Kauai
One of Kauai’s most popular attractions just isn’t accessible by road. You can fly alongside it, you can hike to it, or, as our Facebook ohana enthusiastically recommends, you can kayak alongside the 4,000 ft. Napali coastline cliffs. It’s a full day and a 20-mile often-choppy paddle between Heana Beach Park and Polihale State Park, but the rewards are worth it. In addition to the sea cliff views, kayakers can also cozy up to waterfalls, explore sea caves, glimpse large, green and remote valleys tucked into the cliff folds from a unique offshore vantage, as well as spot marine life such as turtles, dolphins, and occasionally, rare Hawaiian monk seals.

Hanalei River & Hanalei Bay
Kauai
The Hanalei River starts in the rainy center of Kauai on the slopes of the island’s highest mountain and winds it’s way north past the Hanalei National Wildlife Refuge, home to endangered water birds, and into Hanalei Bay’s eastern side. Many choose to kayak along the sleepy river and out into the bay in the same trip offering the experience of both river and ocean kayaking in the span of a several-mile paddle.

#2
Kailua Bay & Lanikai
Oahu
Kailua Bay and Lanikai are close neighbors on Oahu’s Windward coast (and just south of #5 winner Kaneohe Bay). Less than a mile apart, Kailua and Lanikai both promise crystal, azure waters and reachable offshore islands managed as Hawaii State Seabird Sanctuaries. Kailua Bay’s access at Kailua Beach is within the town of Kailua and the area sports a number of kayak rental shops. From Kailua Beach, it’s easy to explore Popoia (Flat Island), a one-mile round-trip journey from shore. Lanikai’s ocean access lies in corridors between houses in a residential neighborhood, but provides the most direct route to the popular twin Mokulua Islands, both larger than Kailua’s Popoia.

#1
Wailua River
Kauai
Kauai has the only navigable rivers in Hawaii and the eastern-flowing Wailua is undoubtedly the most popular to kayak—it won our Facebook Ohana Poll by a landslide. The river carries little current (it's considered a Class Zero) and the paddle through jungle greenery is an experience easy enough for the whole family. It also helps that there’s a particularly gorgeous spot along the way: The river is the only way to access the trail leading to 100 f.t. Uluwehi (a.k.a. Secret) Falls.

Oahu Adventures: Popoi'a (Flat) Island Paddle in Kailua
This Oahu adventure goes to Flat Island, or Popoi'a Island. Flat island is a small island off of Oahu that is one of the easiest places to paddle, kayak, or swim to from Kailua, Hawaii.
Check out the insanely gorgeous views on the island as we explore this state seabird sanctuary and enjoy the beautiful views this little gem has to offer.
For more information on visiting the island, check out this article about paddling to Popoia Island:

Oahu Interscholastic Association Paddling Regatta #3 Dec 29, 2018
This urban beach park is located next to the Honolulu International Airport. Ke'ehi Lagoon (see more photos) is a great place for canoeing and boating since the waters are usually calm in the protected lagoon. Many canoe clubs do their practice session here and outrigger canoe regattas take place from time to time. However, the man-made beach is not suitable for swimming, snorkeling or surfing.
There is a large grassy area with soccer, baseball, softball and cricket fields, tennis courts, a pavilion and restrooms. In the weekends, the park is often times used for family gatherings since it's a good place to barbecue. When outrigger canoe races take place here, many paddlers as well as spectators come to the park.
Even though the beach park is located on a major highway, the views over to neighboring Sand Island and the city are nice. And since the park is located right next to the airport, one can see many planes take off and land from up close.
Located within Ke'ehi Lagoon are several tiny islands. One of them is Mokauea Island. Encompassing a mere 10 acres, this tiny spit of land is the site of Oahu's last Hawaiian fishing village (and one of two left in the entire state of Hawaii). The non-profit organisation Ho'ola Mokauea has been working to environmentally and culturally restore Mokauea Island.
Kamehameha Day Race
Music: Vulfpeck - Back Pocket
I flew my drone on Kamehameha Day at Kailua Bay over an outrigger canoe race. I got lucky and got a huli (canoe flip) on video.
[ source: wikipedia ]
Kamehameha Day on June 11 is a public holiday in the state of Hawaii in the United States. It honors Kamehameha the Great, the monarch who first established the unified Kingdom of Hawaiʻi—comprising the Hawaiian Islands of Niʻihau, Kauaʻi, Oʻahu, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi, Kahoʻolawe, Maui, and Hawaiʻi. In 1883 a statue of King Kamehameha was dedicated in Honolulu by King David Kalākaua. There are duplicates of this statue in Emancipation Hall at the Capitol Visitor Center in Washington, D.C. and in Hilo, island of Hawaiʻi.
