高山劇場 Ko Shan Theatre
First opened in 1983, The Ko Shan Theatre was designed as a 3,000-seat semi-open-air theatre. Because of poor design, it was suffering from inclement weather and noise problems. An improvement project of the theatre was approved in 1994, and it was re-opened in October 1996 after being refurbished. Today, it includes a theatre with 1,031 seats, a committee room and two rehearsal rooms.

More about 2015 Cultural Leadership Summit:
Devotion can defeat any difficulties—an inspiring story of a Cantonese opera actress
In Cantonese opera, where male actors usually get more opportunities, female actors face more difficulties and challenges, and sometimes have to sacrifice their precious time, money and health, if they want to achieve success in this career.
However, with great passion and devotion on Cantonese opera, Wang Kit Ching, a young opera actress, never flinches back; instead, she turns those disadvantages into impetuses to improve and fulfill herself, not only in her career, but also in her life.
