Knowledge Plus presents one of Cambodia's still least known island called Koh Tonsay' or Rabbit island' is a Cambodian island located off the country's southern coast in the Gulf of Thailand. Koh Tonsay translates to Rabbit Island, it is being administered by Kep Province.
Koh Tonsay is located just 4.5 km south of Kep City, and can be reached by ferry boat from the local port for only 30 minutes by fishing boat and 10 minutes by express boat.
Koh Tonsay covers an area of 189 hectares, and the population is approximately 100 people of 11 families, who make their living by fishing, harvesting seaweed, and providing tourist services

Walking Along Koh Tonsay Beach Resort | Rabbit Island Attraction in Kep Province
It's a beautiful koh tonsay beach (rabbit island in English) at Kep province situated on a 200ha land, about 5km. east of Kep beach town. We can travel to this island by boat which may take around 30min. The boat price is $25 from Kep port to Rabbit island and return. In this video, we just had lunch and everyone took a break, relaxing. I walked around touring along the beach to end of the beach resort as you can see in this video. It's just naturally beautiful and quiet. It's suitable for those who like a quiet, natural, fresh air beach to relax on weekend or holiday. It's my first time here and I really fall in love with it.

This island is nice to visit for couples, friends, and family. It's one of most famous Islands in Cambodia. It is a nice and peaceful place. It is nice for someone who likes to relax for the weekend. There are Bungalows to stay over night at the island. There are restaurants with nice services and acceptable price.

Koh Tonsay Island, aka as Rabbit Island of Cambodia, is a perfect island for some hammock time. The island is close to Kep, but yet it feels like you are miles away from civilization. The island is rustic. The water might not be the prettiest, but it is great for swimming and having fun. Cocktails are as cheap as chips! We loved our day trip to this Cambodian island!
Btw, there are no rabbits on rabbit island ;)

There's not much to do on the Island, but if you're in need of some R&R I highly recommend this place. Make sure you stop by the Yum Yum restaurant for dinner and and all day Happy Hour.
