Hawaii Land For Sale: 1 Acre In Ocean View Estates - Only $6,000!!!
Hawaii County, Hawaii | 1 Acre | $6,000
Located in the Big Island’s Ka’u district, this one acre lot is part of Hawaiian Ocean View Estates, a subdivision that boasts power at the lot line, paved road access and sits just a short distance from the beaches of South Point. With a terrain that varies from lava fields to ohi’a trees, this subdivision has easy access to the Mamalahoa Highway (Highway 11) and is ideal for anyone looking to experiment with unconventional or off grid living situations as the entire region has the type of relaxed zoning restrictions not common on the mainland. In fact, not only are things like shipping container homes and yurts allowed in this area, they’re actually quite common and can be found sharing the same streets as more traditional style single family homes. If “off grid living” isn’t your thing, and you’re looking instead for investment property, such as an ideal location to build an Airbnb, there is no more affordable area in the state to buy and build on than in this subdivision.

Explore Nahuku (Thurston Lava Tube), Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
Come Caving on the Big Island of Hawaii. Near the summit of Kilauea volcano within a deep rainforest lies an exciting walk underground into a “lava tube”. Lava tubes are caves created as molten lavas pour downhill, later leaving evacuated conduits that sometimes are passable and worth exploring. Nahuku (the Thurston Lava Tube) is one of the easiest to see, fully lit, and a reasonably level stroll (albeit dripping and wet). Nahuku is open to anyone who visits Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii. Outside the cave you’ll also find some excellent birding; here is the habitat for several native species of Hawaiian forest birds.
Heiau-Pololu Valley Lookout-King Kamehameha Statue-On Big Island, Hawaii-UHD 4K
This video shows the Puukohola Heiau, the Pololu Valley Lookout and the king Kamehameha Statue. This National Historic Site is home to one of the largest restored heiau (temple) in Hawaii and is part of the National Park System. Heiau were sacred places of worship for Native Hawaiians, and Puukohola Heiau was a site built to fulfill a historic prophecy.
There is limited parking at the Pololu valley lookout, just park along the road as you come to the overlook. A great view from up top, but don't miss the steep hike down into the valley. The ocean is magnificent at the bottom. You will miss the King Kamehameha Statue before finding it.
The Big Island is the largest and the southeastern-most of the Hawaiian islands, a chain of volcanic islands in the North Pacific Ocean. With an area of 4,028 square miles (10,430 km2), it is larger than all of the other islands in the archipelago combined and is the largest island in the United States.
