My wife and I kayaking Lake Chocorua in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
This is a very quick video that gives you an idea of what kayaking on this beautiful lake is like. There are no motorized boats allowed on the lake, so if you are looking for a nice lake to kayak, you may want to check it out.

The Chocorua Lake Conservancy is a non-profit land trust founded in 1968 to protect the Chocorua Lake Basin and surrounding area and to provide public access to Chocorua Lake for visitors and local residents.
The Conservancy owns and manages 931 acres of conservation land in the Chocorua Lake Basin, and protects almost 3,000 additional acres through 74 conservation easements and covenants on over 120 different properties.

This multi-agency carry out of a 14 year old boy with a leg injury took about six hours from start to finish. This video captures in about a minute and a half the three hour downhill carryout. Participating in the mission were U.S. Forest Service, Androscoggin Valley SAR, Mountain Rescue Service, AMC and Pemigewasset Valley SAR.
Summiting Mt Chocorua The Wrong Way
We climbed Mt Chocorua, NH, on April 16, 2016, and it was simply gorgeous out. We could easily see snow-peaked Mt Washington to the north and Lake Winnipesaukee to the south. This video captures the final stages of arriving at the top via an unconventional approach and then some great panoramic views all around the peak.

Ashuelot River Campground - Swanzey, NH
Today we headed to Swanzey, NH to Ashuelot River Campground! We spent 4 days here taking day trips on the Scooter to Keene. The ride was picturesque thru beautiful covered bridges! Our favorite activity was a 3 hr canoe ride down the Ashuelot river! We had a great time at Ashuelot River Campground and can't wait to go back!

Used my Canon G12 to create a time lapse of the Aurora Borealis the night of the 7/14 - 7/15/2012. Captured 2 frames/sec with 15 second exposures each. This was over a span from 2330 EDT 7/14 thru nearly 0200 EDT 7/15/12. Playback is the 250+ images set at 10 frames/sec. This is the final product after rotating and cropping the images as best I could and bringing down the frame rate a bit. Stills here:

Excuse the tilt - my tripod didn't arrive in time (thanks Amazon!) so I was using a rock that I thought was flat but clearly wasn't. Stills here:

Saltbox style enter from drive to open kitchen living room area. 1 bedroom and utility room on this level. Bay window over looks the fenced yard that is accessed from the utility bathroom. There is a pellet stove in corner of living room however isn t operational at this time. The second floor is one big room with pine board accent wall storage space closet and 3 4 bath with tile floor. French style door opens to the deck that runs almost the length of the home and overlooks that fenced yard.Tamworth has the best Saturday Farmers Market around and this house is about 5 minutes away from it Swim at White Lake just around the corner or up at Chocorua Lake with the most photographed Mtn Chocorua watching over you. Come winter Ski over at King Pine about 30 minutes away or drive up to North Conway about 35 minutes and shop dine or choose from one of the five local ski areas 24 hour notice to show no interior photos per tenant request pets.
