When we arrived at this place, I couldn't help but notice a huge furry brown dog totem out in the water.You will see it at 1:28 to 1:39 minutes into the video. It was perfect since we had two happy dogs with us.
The recent rains have been good for the lake. I saw a four foot tall mustard plant blooming under water at the end of the boat dock.

Our base camp was in Three Rivers Ca at Sequoia Ranch RV Park - The weather was very warm mid to upper 90's however the RV park is nestled in a canyon with lots of large trees that provided alot of shade also the river that runs along the outer perimeter of the campground was great place to keep cool- The water level was higher than expected considering this years drought.
