Lake Marian track, hiking in Fiordland National Park, South Island, New Zealand
Hiking in Fiordland National Park is an amazing, unforgettable experience. Lake Marian track is a great place to explore, especially if you love hiking. The track is not too hard and it only takes about 1.5 hours from parking located next to the Hollyford River-Whakatipu Ka Tuka (when the weather is good and the trail is dry). This is definitely one of the top places to see in Fiordland National Park in South Island, New Zealand.
The video was shot in January 2018 on Panasonic G7, Lumix G Vario 14-42mm, and Samsung S7.
Lake Marian Trek | Fiordland National Park - New Zealand
This wonderful hike traverses waterfalls and dense forest to take you to one of Fiordlands nicest alpine lakes.The trail is rather easy except for a couple short scrambles. You do not need to cross any walk wires to reach the lake, but you should have some experience hiking rough mountain trails.

Lake Marian is one of the famous track in Te Anau in South Island New Zealand, which I believe this track should be put in your must-do list when you decide to go to Te Anua. Lake Marian looks stunning differently during four seasons.

After Key Summit Track, I went on to climb this next attractions. Didn't expect it to be such a beautiful place! This place leaves big impression, it seems so surreal to be here, the lake is there, the mountain cliffs are so near.

One of my favourite hikes. I have now been here twice, once in summer and once in winter, and I have had the place to myself. The reflections were just ridiculous!! New Zealand takes my breath away.
