Narach is a part of the Narach lake group. It was formed about 11 thousand years ago after the Pleistocene ice ages. The lake is surrounded by pine forests.

At the beginning of the twentieth century, fierce battles between Russians and Germans took place in the vicinity of Lake Naroch. The Lake Naroch Offensive in 1916 was an unsuccessful Russian offensive on the Eastern Front in World War I. It was launched at the request of Marshal Joseph Joffre and intended to relieve the German pressure on French forces.

Naroch is a blue pearl of Belarus and the most popular climatic and balneological resort. Sanatorium Naroch is the only health resort located on a hilly coast in 20 m from a coastal strip of a lake from which windows you will enjoy a noise of waves. Today the sanatorium serves 250 people at the same time. Rooms are cozy 1-bed, 2-bed, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom rooms with all amenities (bathroom and toilet, TV, refrigerator, kettle). The sanatorium is divided into two residential buildings, which are connected by a well-arranged passage and a balneological complex. Life-giving force of the surrounding nature, moderate mild climate, clean air, large tracts of coniferous forest, crystal clear water - this is your rest in the sanatorium Naroch. The sanatorium is located in the center of the resort village Naroch in 20 m from the coastal strip of Lake Naroch. The distance to Minsk is 120 km.

National Library of Belarus At the view point - Chapter 2 Ep 4

Reporting from the view point of Belarusian National Library. The view area is opened from 10 am to 10 pm provides an amazing view of Minsk and great atmosphere on the top of the huge diamond for only 2 dollars per person. There is also an art gallery and a cafe with local cuisine dishes at the 22nd floor of one of the highest building in Minsk with unique architecture and important symbolic meaning. One of the best and must see attraction in Republic of Belarus.
