This video was taken on March 1, 2019. Well, I'm back guys! It has been 3 months since I have done this. But anyway, this thing got repainted! It was a gingerbread house and now it's a Mardi Gras house. The elevator itself is the same as before, but it's hot this time! I could only get two elevators this time because I had Grandmom with us. Brand New Schindler 330A Hydraulic Elevator @ Zara, Lakeside Mall in Metairie LA.
This is the one an only Zara in Louisiana. This store opened 2 months ago and they have a brand new Schindler elevator. It's very nice for a Schindler. But it overlevels. This is also the first video with an impact cam. Don't mind the lady asking me questions about my career and channel. Weird how the down indicator is on the first floor and the up indicator is on the second floor. The lanterns don't work, unfortunately. But this thing has an Epic Motor! This is a video tour of a Big Kmart in Metairie, Louisiana. They still have 2 stores in this city as of April 2018.
Certainly not the best Kmart store I’ve been in. However, in better condition than most and probably why it survived the most recent closures of early 2018. There was no Kcafe but the bins at the end of the video tell me there was at some point in the past. They had a blue light but no active specials while we were there. This was done on a Sunday morning. I would imagine this store gets busier especially on a Saturday. The pharmacy appeared closed despite having non prescription products nearby. We added some vintage Kmart announcements instead of commentary to bring you a retro experience. Feel free to comment below your own Kmart memories. ENJOY!
