Trek in Nepal to Langtang Valley has been successfully accomplished by a group of six ladies from Malaysia and the trek was organized by Mountain Ram Adventures. The group had one guide and six porters. I was very happy to have joined with this group even though i was not on the Kyanjin Ri with them. But i enjoyed the silence of the mountain while climbing up to Kyanjin Ri 4773m. Oh by the way, Langshisakharka Valley was an unforgettable. What a beautiful weather we had while walking on that valley, had an amazing experience.
Langtang valley trekking in Nepal, is the perfect option if you are looking for a short, relatively easy, teahouse trek. It is a great introduction to Himalayan trekking, with the added bonus of breathtaking mountain views right from day one. Situated just a day's drive North of Kathmandu, this excellent trek follows the narrow Langtang valley heading up towards the Langtang glacier and the Tibetan border. About one fourth of the park is covered in forests of oak, maple, rhododendron, chir pine, hemlock and spruce and is home to a wide variety of animal and bird life. It is possible to see the endangered Himalayan red panda, pika, muntjack, musk deer, Himalayan black beer, Himalayan tahr, ghoral, serow, rhesus monkey and the common langur. Many different bird species can also be spotted as this region is a major route for migratory birds.

This is full langtang trek Video which was captured last time we had visited to the Langtang National Park. It includes most beautiful scenes of Himalayas, rivers, national park and major trekking circuit route from Saprubesi to Kyanjin Gompa(final destination). This video consists of many photographs and videos from langtang.
Kyanjin Ri (4773m / 15655 ft), like Kala Patthar on the Everest Base Camp Trek, is the highest point most trekkers reach on the Langtang Trek. Kyanjin Ri is a small hill by Himalayan standards that sits just to the north east of Kyanjin Gumba (3830m). Its well worth the 3 to 5 hours it will take to get to the summit to see the fantastic views of the upper Langtang Valley and surrounding peaks and glaciers.

Amazing Langtang Trek 2019. This trek was done in First Week of January 2019. Trek Started from Syabrubeshi and Ended in Kyanjin Gumba. Maximum altitude attained 4400.
The Langtang Valley has long been a favourite trek due to its untouched majestic scenery. The 2015 earthquake and subsequent landslide had an enormous effect on the region, but aid and reconstruction have recently reopened this valley to trekking again.

Langtang Valley is the nearest Himalayan Region from Kathmandu valley, few hours drive from Kathmandu will take you to the beautiful Langtang region. Despite being very close to Kathmandu, the Langtang Region is as wild as any Tibetan highlands with idyllic rural landscape with the varieties of vegetation, wild birds/animals, majestic waterfalls and snow-capped Himalayas making the trek one of the most diverse treks.
The 7 Days Langtang Valley Trek starts with a day ride from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. We begin the walk from Syabrubesi (1400 mts). We head upward to Lama Hotel (2500 mts) and Langtang village (3500 mts) until we arrive at the famous Kyanjin Gompa (3850 mts). After exploring the beautiful Kyanjing Gompa valley region, we trek the same route to Syabrubesi from where we drive back to Kathmandu.

Langtang National Park trek options
In this video we'll outline the main trekking options in the Langtang region just north of Kathmandu.
The Langtang National Park was created in 1976 and was the first National Park in Nepal. It extends over 1700 square kilometres and protects fantastic Himalayan peaks and valleys, over 40 villages, extremely bio-diverse flora and fauna and some very important religious landmarks and temples. It is a fantastic place to trek for a few days or an extended trek
Access is easy, just a 2 hour drive from Kathmandu.
While there are many different trekking route options in the Langtang National Park, the three most frequent and spectacular treks are:
• To Langtang village and on to Kyangjin Gompa and often further up to Tserko Ri for fantastic Himalayan mountain views
• The high pass trek across the Ganja La pass -- also with fantastic Himalayan mountain views
• And the beautiful trek to Gosainkunda Lake -- sacred to millions of Hindus.
The most frequented route is to Langtang village and on to Kyangjin Gompa -- usually about a 7 day trek.
This is a fantastic trek for its combination of relatively easy walking, beautiful high mountain scenery with some peaks well over 7,000m , and the opportunity to experience some Nepali rural village culture and the Buddhist monastery Kyanjin Gompa. The highest point of the trek is the Tserko Ri ridge at about 4,490m altitude. The views from Tserko Ri to Yala and Langtang mountain summits and the string of peaks along the border with Tibet are some of the most spectacular in Nepal.
The initial Langtang trek can be converted and extended into a high pass trek requiring a few challenging days in the high mountains and some camping. This route is the Ganja La pass.
The Ganja La pass is normally attempted from north to south and involves a challenging walk up the valley wall to a snow covered pass over the range at an altitude of 5,100m. There are no villages or tea house accommodation on this part of the trek so a night or two of camping is required. The reward is spectacular views across the Himalaya range. The trek then continues southward toward Kathmandu.
Another option is to traverse the lower end of the range at the western end of the Langtang Valley. This is a trek through the Gosainkunda Lake region. The Gosaikunda area has been designated as a religious site. Hindus say Gosaikunda as the abode of Lord Shiva . There is a temple located at the lake and a large festival is held there each year. The trek may be added to the return leg of a Langtang trek or conducted specifically to the lakes. Some treks continue southward toward Kathmandu while other options return to the Kathmandu valley.
Probably best to plan your Langtang treks for Spring or Autumn. This avoids the mid-summer monsoon season rain and low cloud. While it will be cold in February and November, these are still good times to trek the valley if you have the right clothing, equipment, accommodation planned and a good guide with you.
So these are just the three main trekking routes in the Langtang National Park area. Plus there are lot more amazing places that can be included in a customised trek itinerary.

A trek up the Langtang Valley
The Langtang region sits on Nepal’s border with Tibet, a short distance north of Kathmandu. It’s a narrow valley running east to west, wedged between dramatic 6,000 to 7,000m snow-capped peaks, the highest of which is 7,227m Langtang Lirung.
For much of its bottom end, it's a narrow, forested gorge. It widens out towards the top as it approaches the higher mountains and glaciers
This short film starts near the bottom end at the village of Thulo Syaphru, and follows a snowy trek through Bamboo, Lama Hotel, Langtang village and Mundu as far as Kyanjin Gompa.

The Upper Langtang Valley
Beyond Kyanjin Gompa, the last community of teahouses in Nepal's Langtang Valley, the land has a remote feel as you approach the high glacier regions. A number of side valleys provide access to the mountains, and the camping is beautiful.
In this video, several days of fresh snow had turned the valley into a winter wonderland. We found a lovely campsite in a kharka (summer grazing ground) at Chyadang and explored a side valley, but the snow was very deep and we didn't get far.
