Lanikai Beach
Lanikai means “Heavenly Sea” and this heavenly stretch of beach is often ranked as one of the top beaches in the world. Unlike many of the other beaches on Oahu, Lanikai remains relatively calm throughout the year. This makes it perfect for a relaxing day with friends or family.
During three-day holiday weekends, the city doesn't allow parking along streets and shoulders from 10 am to 3 pm
There really are no accommodations at Lanikai Beach. The parking is minimal, there are no restrooms, and there are no lifeguards.

The World's Most Beautiful Beach? -- Lanikai Beach, Oahu, Hawai'i, USA // 242
Today I explored what is referred to as the World's Most Beautiful Beach! It's found on Oahu, Hawai'i. I went to Lanikai Beach today to see for myself what all the hype it about. Yes, it's true, Lanikai Beach is stunning!
Lanikai Beach is located on the southeastern coast of Oahu, Hawai'i. The waters are clear and blue, and the sand is soft and white. There were not many people here when I visited. Most larger groups go to Kailua Beach which is about 1 mile north of, the famed World's Most Beautiful Beach, Lanikai Beach. Kailua Beach is better equipped with restrooms and showers for visitors. Lanikai Beach does not.
Hawai'i has many free things to do and visiting Lanikai Beach was one of my favorites. If you're looking for free things to do in Hawai'i
make plans for a daytrip to Lanikai Beach!
To get there, you can rent a car, take a shuttle, or take TheBus. TheBus is the name of the public transport bus which drives all over Oahu, Hawai'i. I took it several days during my one-week trip in Waikiki so I could explore different corners of the island.

I always wanted to visit this place and finally I got a change to visit all the island in this trip. In this trip I start my trip in Waikiki Beach and make my way up to the North Shore of Oahu. Where the final destination is the Magnificent Turtle Bay Resort. There is where I continue the adventure on the next video. I will be posting videos every week about new places I visited. Prettiest beach in HAWAII? - Lanikai Beach, Oahu | HI | Episode 15
Arguably the MOST BEAUTIFUL beach in the ENTIRE WORLD! On the windward (east) side of Oahu, an offshore reef helps keep the waters CALM near the fine WHITE SAND beach at LANIKAI. We enjoyed SNORKELING in shallow and calm water where many BABY TROPICAL FISH are nestled into the coral. This is probably one of the most PICTURESQUE places on Oahu--white sand, calm blue water, and no crowd (if you go at the right time).
Then, we drove about 15 minutes to a random beach in KAILUA where we ESCAPED the tourists and enjoyed a combination of RELAXING BEACH and SURFABLE WAVES.

Launched the DJ Mavic Pro from the Lanikai Pillbox and flew over Lanikai Beach and buzzed some beachgoers.

Coordonnées GPS: 21°23'28.2N 157°42'56.8W (108-118 Kaiolena Dr, Kailua)
Aucun stationnement n'a été aménagé pour cette plage. Il faut donc se stationner dans les rues avoisinantes en respectant bien sûr les panneaux où il est clairement indiqué No Parking. Sinon, vous risquez d'obtenir une contravention car le secteur est patrouillé.
L'accès à la plage se fait par différentes allées aménagées entre les résidences. Fait à noter: il n'y a aucune salle de bain, ni douche à cet endroit.
Comme je le mentionnais précédemment, Lanikai Beach est considérée comme étant la plus belle plage de l'île d'Oahu et même une des plus belles plages au monde.
Certes, elle est très belle, fait office de carte postale et vaut certainement le détour.
Cependant, comme les nuages jouaient du coude avec le soleil, possiblement que les couleurs de l'océan que j'ai pu observer sur certaines photos n'étaient tout simplement pas au rendez-vous lors de notre passage sur cette plage.
