With practices at least three times per week, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 7:00am – 8:00am, as well as pregame skates on Fridays at home, they’re always working to get better. This team of dedicated players is known for its sold out seats for almost every home game and one of the best hockey cultures around.

I sat down with two of the players on the team and even in the short time I was talking to them we had a bunch of laughs. Any player looking for a close team bond and an exciting atmosphere in one of the best cities, UNLV is the place to be. Their hockey program is part of the American Collegiate Hockey Association - Men’s Division 1 and have training and coaching staff available year- round to commit to the success of their student athletes.

With a designated locker room in the arena, year-round dry-land, weight, and flexibility training at City Athletic Club, these guys are treated like the pros. The Athletic Club features an organized weight training area, and an exclusive facility offering athletic training for UNLV Hockey players that each player is provided their own membership to use at any time throughout the season. UNLV Hockey also has a full-time strength and conditioning coach on staff, to provide training and concept for maximizing each players development away from the rink.

A Quick Tour of Summerlin
Hi, I'm Jessica Hallenbeck with the Hallenbeck Team at Signature Real Estate Group, your Summerlin Realtor. This is a quick tour of Summerlin in Las Vegas Nevada. Summerlin is considered one of the most beautiful master-planned communities in the country. Summerlin is located just ten miles west of The Strip. Summerlin West is near Red Rock Conservation Area which makes for some incredible views. The median home price in Summerlin is near $350,000, in comparison to Las Vegas median near $250,000. There are many amenities that justify the higher home prices. Did you know that Summerlin is near 1000 ft higher in elevation than the center of the Las Vegas valley?
Some of the amenities are the parks and trails. The park featured is Fox Hills Park in Summerlin West in the Paseos Village. Summerlin has over 150 parks and 150 miles of trails, multiple communities centers and something for everyone all through.
Downtown Summerlin host many activities and events. We were there during a Fit for Mom class! On Saturdays, there are farmers markets in the Pavillion. The Las Vegas Ballpark Sales Center is gearing up for the opening in April 2019. City National Arena is also in Downtown Summerlin, it's home to our Vegas Golden Knights.
