Tips for Traveling to Lanzarote with Kids
The volcanic quality of the Canary Islands takes on its complete meaning in the island Lanzarote. An awesome island filled with volcanoes, with a whole variety of sole landscapes that will delight the little ones of your house and will make certain the success of your family holidays on the island of Lanzarote.
The island is only 75 kilometers long and 20 km wide that can lead to the misconception that one or two days will be sufficient to travel and explore its secrets, however, if you actually wish to know the island in depth and soak a little of its civilization, you will require a last a week.
The welcoming characters of its people, the quiet with which one lives on the island and breathes in its atmosphere make it a perfect destination for the practice of slow travel. That way of traveling is gradually growing on us and that is greatly appreciated, particularly when traveling with kids and children.
When to travel to Lanzarote?

Transportation
Before describing how to move around the island we will make it obvious that even though it is right that Lanzarote can be reached via boat, the greatest way to get to Lanzarote is by plane. Apart from the island of Fuerteventura that takes a few minutes, the other of connections by boat goes from 6 to 9 hours. So once we have reached by plane to Lanzarote airport, Guazimeta, the greatest option to move in the island is to rent a car or taxi.
There is public transport also but, if you wish to take benefit of your time on the island, you should take into account that this does not arrive at the most of the greatest places in Lanzarote. So the rental car is absolutely the greatest option, particularly if you travel with kids or children.

This island has been entirely upturned with tourism for a few years now so the offer to stay in Lanzarote with kids is normal and right for all pockets and tastes.
There are several hotels where families with children and kids are well received and they have all the services and facilities so that the little ones of the house enjoy their holidays.
Undoubtedly if we speak about Lanzarote with kids, it is a great place where you and your kids and children can enjoy. So, don’t ruin your children’s holidays and let them enjoy in the beauty of nature.

Lanzarote #02: Jameos del Agua. Famara
Jameos del Agua is a series of lava caves located in northern Lanzarote, Canary Islands. Now in this lava tube is a culture, art and tourism centre. There you will find a subterranean salt lake, restaurant, gardens, emerald-green pool, museum and auditorium. The length of all tube is about 6km. Of course, you can visit only some parts of it. Other parts are about 1,5km under sea level. It is a very nice place for meditation and relaxation.
Famara beach is located at the northern side of Lanzarote. It is quite a remote place, far from main touristic beaches in the south. Famara beach stretches about 5km. It is a perfect place for all kind of surfers. But it is also a perfect place for sunset lovers. The mountains behind you take all the colours of sunset and create an amazing unforgettable picture.

CALETON BLANCO : Plage et baie protégée dans le nord de Lanzarote
Le village de pêcheurs de Órzola possède une collection de baies accueillantes dans la partie Est de son littoral, une attraction naturelle qui justifie une excursion dans la zone nord de l'île de Lanzarote.
Parmi elles se démarque le Caletón Blanco, nom parfait qualifiant le sable caractéristique du lieu, blanc et propre comme peu d'autres. Une piscine naturelle d'eaux cristallines occupe une bonne partie de ce coin de rêve, parsemé de lave volcanique.
Baignades relaxantes sur les plages de Órzola.
Certaines parties de la plages sont idéales pour les enfants grâce à la protection naturelle des rochers ; les autres parties sont plus profondes et parfaites pour se baigner dans la mer ouverte rafraîchissante. Pour profiter de la baignade dans toute sa splendeur, il est recommandé d'y venir lorsque la marée est presque haute.
La plage dispose d'une vaste zone dédiée aux voitures. Ses eaux turquoises, sa tranquillité, la qualité du sable naturel et le soleil presque toujours présent n'ont pas de prix.
PARC TIMANFAYA : profitez ici d’une beauté d’un autre monde.
A l’ouest de Lanzarote, le Parc national de Timanfaya est un site volcanique de 5 000 hectares. Il abrite les montañas del Fuego (montagnes de feu) qui sont encore le siège d’activités volcaniques.
Le charme du parc national de Timanfaya est indescriptible. Il est né des éruptions volcaniques qui se sont produites entre 1720 et 1736, et en 1824.
L’absence de végétation, l’extrême rugosité des formes, la variété des couleurs, les silhouettes des volcans et la côte abrupte confèrent à Timanfaya une extraordinaire beauté.
Le parc de Timanfaya vaut le détour : coulées de lave pétrifiée, crevasses, cratères, la nature n’y a pas encore repris ses droits.

Le village de MANCHA BLANCA se situe à proximité du PARC TIMANFAYA.
