BORDEAUX BAKERY TOUR - TRAVEL FRANCE
This video is about our city break to Bordeaux and the best things to do in Bordeaux on a budget.
This video is a guide of what to do in Bordeaux 2019. Bordeaux travel guide 2019
It features a French wine tour in Saint-Émilion (a French commune in France).
Bordeaux wine is famous around the world and for good reason. The wine tour was in the top 10 best things to do in Bordeaux
The electric bike wine wine tour was amazing and one of the best things to do in Bordeaux. We caught the train from Bordeaux to Saint-emilion which was very easy and affordable to do on a budget.
We also went on a 20 euro Bordeaux bakery tour of the city where we went to the best bakeries in Bordeaux France - also one of the best things to do when you visit Bordeaux.
We visited in July and there was a heatwave in the city of Bordeaux. The Bordeaux weather was extremely hot and sunny.
Flights from London to Bordeaux (or just flight to Bordeaux airport in general) are very reasonable with easyjet. You can also get the train to Bordeaux from London or from Paris.
We stayed in an airbnb in Bordeaux and it was reasonably priced and very comfortable. But there are lots of hotel Bordeaux, which are also available in the city.
We also rode around the city on bird electric scooters and visited the Darwin project in Bordeaux (a must see attraction in Bordeaux)

Trams in Bordeux, France - trams à Bordeaux, France
By demand of the Municipality of Bordeaux (CUB), part of the system uses ground-level power supply (APS). There is no overhead wire, and electric power to the tram is supplied by a center rail with only the portion directly under the tram electrically alive. This prevents electrocution of pedestrians and animals. See the adjacent photograph.

A Walk Around Place de la Bourse, Bordeaux, France
Place de la Bourse is a square in Bordeaux, France and one of the city's most recognizable sights. Built from 1730 to 1775 along the Garonne River, it was a multi-building development designed by architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel. It is within the historic part of the city that has been recognized on the UNESCO World Heritage List as an outstanding urban and architectural ensemble of the 18th century.
In the original plan, a statue of King Louis XV of France was erected in the square. This statue was destroyed during the French Revolution. After the destruction of the statue, a Corinthian column-fountain was built on the square. Finally, in 1869 the sculpture Three Graces was installed in the same location.
Design of the surrounding buildings was finished by Ange-Jacques Gabriel in 1739; the project was issued for construction two weeks after the architect's death. After his death, his son was put in charge and finished the construction of the buildings.
This square is one of the most representative works of classical French architectural art of the eighteenth century. In the north stood the Palais de la Bourse (current Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bordeaux) and in the south the Hotel des Fermes (now Interregional Directorate of Customs and Indirect Rights, which houses the National Museum of Customs). It was designed by Ange-Jacques Gabriel between 1735 and 1738. The sculptures represent Minerve protecting the arts and Mercury favoring the commerce of the city.
In 2007 it was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List as an outstanding urban and architectural ensemble of the 18th century.

Bordeaux, France
Bordeaux is a port city on the Garonne in the Gironde department in Southwestern France.
The municipality (commune) of Bordeaux proper has a population of 252,000. Together with its suburbs and satellite towns, Bordeaux is the centre of the Bordeaux Métropole. With 1,195,000 in the metropolitan area, it is the sixth-largest in France, after Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse, and Lille. It is the capital of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, as well as the prefecture of the Gironde department. Its inhabitants are called Bordelais (for men) or Bordelaises (women).
Bordeaux is located close to the European Atlantic coast, in the southwest of France and in the north of the Aquitaine region. It is around 500 km southwest of Paris. The city is built on a bend of the river Garonne, and is divided into two parts: the right bank to the east and left bank in the west.
Bordeaux is classified City of Art and History. The city is home to 362 monuments historiques (only Paris has more in France) with some buildings dating back to Roman times. Bordeaux has been inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List as an outstanding urban and architectural ensemble.
Bordeaux is home to one of Europe's biggest 18th-century architectural urban areas, making it a sought-after destination for tourists and cinema production crews. It stands out as one of the first French cities, after Nancy, to have entered an era of urbanism and metropolitan big scale projects, with the team Gabriel father and son, architects for King Louis XV, under the supervision of two intendants (Governors), first Nicolas-François Dupré de Saint-Maur then the Marquis de Tourny.

A Walk Through Galerie Bordelaise, Bordeaux, France
An iron-and-glass shopping arcade inaugurated in 1834 by wealthy refugees from the Mexican Revolution, headed by the Marqués de la Torre, it was designed by the architect Gabriel Joseph Durand and designated a historic monument in 1975. Located at Rue des Piliers de Tutelle, it's great especially for a rainy afternoon, alternating browsing and window shopping with coffee or lunch at one of the cafés.
