Every day at Epicure he creates exquisite and inventive cuisine in the newly designed dining room, bathed in natural light.
114 Faubourg, le Bristol's luxury brasserie, has a delightfully warm and welcoming Parisian atmosphere. It is overseen by Chef Eric Desbordes, under the supervision of Eric Frechon.

Speakeasy @ Le Bristol Paris
The Roaring Twenties were keen on cocktails. In Paris, free-spirited young women chatted away on café terraces in Montparnasse, sipping Mimosas—a sunny mix of champagne and orange juice—while Harry Mac Helhone, owner of the legendary Harry’s Bar, near the Opéra Garnier, served up a famous Bloody Mary and his newest invention, the Side Car. On the other side of the Atlantic, Prohibition was in full swing. Already in force in the United States between 1920 and 1933, the Volstead Act imposed a ban on the production, transport and sale of alcohol, making wine, cocktails and spirits illegal in bars and restaurants. Intended to reform society and curb violence, in fact, the law precipitated a rise in smuggling, the creation of clandestine bars, like the famous speakeasy, and underworld empires.
Unlike Canada or Finland, Prohibition never reached France. But the thrill of the forbidden, the legends, music and the illicit atmosphere of gangsters associated with American speakeasies continue to fire the imagination. For one heady evening, Le Bristol Paris will plunge you into the heart of Prohibition. The initiated will receive a password—the only way to surreptitiously enter a secret bar. Once inside, a different world awaits the guests: boyish outfits for the ladies and Douglas Fairbanks-style suits for the gentlemen, with music, a scandalous atmosphere and 20’s cocktails revisited by our inhouse alchemist, Head Barman Maxime Hoerth. Get ready to drop your mask and step through the mirror!

BAZAAR BAR Hotel Le Bristol, Paris
A luxurious break in Paris. Hôtel Le Bristol, the movie set in Midnight in Paris.
Here we are at Le Bristol Paris, in the heart of Paris’ fashion district on Rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré. It is true that this Palace hotel was made famous recently by Woody Allen's film Midnight in Paris. Several scenes at the beginning of the movie are taken in the lobby and subsequent scenes in the hotel suite. This hotel is also one of my favourite places during winter when it's very cold outside. The cozy and convivial setting is perfect to enjoy a nice cup of coffee. Hôtel Le Bristol opened in 1925 and is famous for its historic architecture and luxurious interior and welcoming décor. It also houses Paris' only spa by La Prairie and Michelin starred restaurants. Le Bristol with its marble walls, painted ceilings, Aubusson tapestries 1:42, 2:29, 3:46 is like a museum. The place is flooded with natural light in the daytime and lit by a soft glow of chandeliers at night. The earthy hues of the walls provide an elegant contrast with the texture of fabrics. In the middle of the lobby, there is Café Antonia, an elegant rendezvous place, 4:44. Precious artwork includes a portrait of Queen Marie Antoinette 5:10, by François-Hubert Drouais, a court portraitist during Louis XV’s reign. The stylish cafe is named after the Queen’s familiar name Antonia. Le Bristol offers a peaceful and harmonious French-style garden designed in the spirit of Le Nôtre’s at the Versailles. Le Jardin Francais 4:10 is heavenly during spring and summer. It serves breakfast, lunch, a classic English-style afternoon tea by day, and cocktails in the evening. Bristol is also Hollywood stars favourite hotel. Famous guests who have stayed here include Woody Allen, Robert De Niro, George Clooney, Gwyneth Paltrow, Bruce Willis, Harvey Keitel, U.S. President Harry Truman and George Bush, and many many more...Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend.

In 2011, it obtained the “palace” distinction. This unique establishment represents the quintessence of French luxury and refinement. In the spacious and luminous rooms and suites, the decor is in the purest of 18th century styles with fabrics created by the most prestigious fashion houses. The engravings, paintings and mirrors are 18th century as well. Decorated in 2009 by Maja Oetker, who supervises all of the decor, the suites in the new wing are an exaltation of French luxury. The hotel’s gastronomic Epicure restaurant, which has earned 3 stars in the Michelin guide, its more than 1,200 square meters gardens, its new Le Bristol spa by La Prairie and its swimming pool with an exceptional view of the Paris rooftops, make the Bristol a unique and unforgettable place to be.
