Nusa Lembongan Island: Things to Do in Nusa Lembongan
What to see and do on Nusa Lembongan Island, Indonesia? This video features the best of Nusa Lembongan Island and a 2-day itinerary. Nusa Lembongan Island is a super-chilled out tropical paradise only a 30-minute boat ride from Bali. It's got gorgeous blue-turquoise water, dreamy white sand beaches and boutique bungalows. There are no cars around; just motorbikes, bicycles, small converted pick-ups and golf carts.
There's some superb snorkeling and scuba diving on Nusa Lembongan - including the possibility of seeing some manta rays. There's also surfing, stand-up paddle boarding; kayaking in the mangroves; and even cliff jumping.
It's easy and cheap to rent a scooter and ride around the island. The whole island is only a few kilometers long. From Nusa Lembongan Island you can easily get to the neighboring Nusa Ceningan by the rickety suspension bridge. Ceningan is even smaller than Lembongan but has some great spots to check out.
Nusa Lembongan Island 2-day itinerary
Day 1 - Nusa Lembongan & Nusa Ceningan:
Mushroom Beach. It's a beautiful white sand beach with several restaurants and hotels as well as some touristy activities like banana boat rides. A bit busy but still a gorgeous spot for a long lunch and a swim if you like.
Dream Beach. A stunning little beach towards the south end of the island.
Devil's Tear. Just a few minutes' walk from Dream Beach, this rocky outcrop is a glorious spot to watch crashing waves and water plumes - although this is dependent on conditions.
Ride over the narrow, yellow and rather rickety suspension bridge to neighboring Nusa Ceningan. Check out (and smell) seaweed from the many seaweed farms drying on the sides of the road.
Ceningan Cliffs Restaurant has stunning views towards Nusa Penida. A great spot for lunch or a cold one.
Blue Lagoon Cliff Jumping area. On the day of our visit it pretty much looked like the ocean was boiling and there were huge waves crashing into the cliffs. On a calm day it MAYBE would be ok to jump in. Jumping or no jumping, it's well worth the ride over as the views are stunning and the Blue Lagoon is just that - incredibly blue.
Day 2 - Snorkeling Trip around Nusa Lembongan & Nusa Ceningan:
Private snorkeling trip around the islands in a traditional fishing boat. Stop at three spots: Mangrove Point, 'The Wall' and Crystal Bay.
Afternoon relaxing on Mushroom Beach.
Dinner at Tamarind Beach watching the stunning sunset and the volcanoes on Bali looming in the distance.

3 Day Tour: Nusa Lembongan to Nusa Penida (Bali)
A 3 Day Tour of Nusa Lembongan to Nusa Penida from Sanur in Bali. Travel by boat from the pier of Sanur arriving to the main beach at Nusa Lembongan. From there the beach we transferred to Mahagiri Resort and we stayed here the night.
The next day we then forwarded to the Yellow Bridge Pier for cheap shuttle boats from Nusa Lembongan island to Nusa Penida island before an overnight stay near Crystal Beach on Nusa Penida.
The next day we did an early inland tour by car of Nusa Penida, starting at our hotel near Crystal Beach and onto Broken Beach and Angel Billabong before tourist crowds arrived from Bali. Next was T-Rex Bay (Kelingking Beach) which was a bit busy by this time and finally Rumah Pohon Tree House which is found next to Diamond Beach and Atuh Beach.
We then travelled over the island to the Angel Billabong pier to travel from Nusa Penida to Sanur by boat and we're back on mainland Bali.

Nusa Lembongan is a small island off the southeast coast of the main island of Bali. Quickly becoming one of Bali’s most popular attractions, this island paradise is a world away from the hassle and hectic pace of South Bali. Neither hawkers nor traffic mar the magnificent scenery; this is a fine place to just put your feet up and relax. Main activities include surfing, diving and snorkeling. The water is some of the clearest you will find anywhere, and a vivid aqua blue in color.

FIRST TIME IN INDONESIA - Disaster in Nusa Lembongan - Story Time Vlog
It’s our first time in Indonesia and we had an absolute disaster in Nusa Lembongan during our day trip. Our whole day was ruined! We’ll share some amazing clips while exploring Nusa Lembongan up until disaster struck. Then, we will transition into a story time vlog and show you around our Bali Villa.
So, what happened to us in Nusa Lembongan Bali? We set sail on a Scoot speed boat to the Nusa Islands. If you’re wondering how to get to Nusa Lembongan, we can highly recommend Scoot or a fast boat of your choice. The local boats take far too long for just a day trip to the islands near Bali. Anyways, we arrived to the island and immediately departed by motorbike to Devils Tear Nusa Lembongan. It was a remarkable place where gatorade blue water came crashing into the bay to spray up above the rocks. It’s truly a natural wonder and one of the best things to do in Nusa Lembongan.
Well, as Ryan was flying the drone off to the side in a very dry area, a massive wave came crashing in and dumped on Ryan and ALL of our camera gear. This was easily our worst day in Indonesia so far… but we’re lucky that we were safe from harm. Our gear on the other hand, not so much.
We rushed to get the equipment dry, but unfortunately our brand new Sony A7iii started showing a persistent error message that wouldn’t go away. Now we are left with a broken camera and are $2000 USD poorer :( So we thought…
We tried to continue the day and the first time in Indonesia vlog for you guys after this travel disaster but then we got a flat tire on our motorbike. It just wasn’t our day! So, the rest of this video will be a story time vlog about exploring nusa lembongan and what happened to our camera. Is the camera still broken? Watch until the end of the video to find out!

NUSA LEMBONGAN, BALI - AMAZING PARADISE ISLAND | VLOG #16
Nusa Lembongan is just a boat ride away from Bali and is very special to us. Not because it is an amazing paradise island, but because we met each other here 2 years ago! It is very different and smaller than Nusa Penida, but it definitely offers a lot of cool stuff such as beaches (especially Dream Beach), snorkelling spots, water sports, surfing opportunities, a mangrove forest and a famous spot called Devils Tear. Check out this vlog to see how a day in Nusa Lembongan looks like.

We didn't go to the nearby Nusa Ceningan as the bridge that connected Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan has sadly collapsed in 2016, therefore it became quiet hard to get to the other side. Apart from that we like Nusa Lembongan a lot better anyway, the only reason to go to Ceningan for us was the cliff jump which wasn't possible due to the strong currents in the ocean, but hopefully a new bridge will be there soon so it is easier to also explore Ceningan.

Nusa Lembongan Day Trip with WakaSailing by Aussie Adventuress
There’s many ways to take a day trip to Nusa Lembongan. There is no bridge connecting the island to Bali mainland. So the only way across is via boat however there’s many types of boats that you can take.
You could opt for a speed boat, cruise boat, sailing, or even a traditional boat.
If you’re looking for speed the best way to get there is from Sanur and there are many boats departing from there daily.
We chose to go for a more luxury sailing experience instead.

Nusa Lembongan is 1 of 3 Nusa islands off the east coast of Bali. We had a relaxing time here in its quiet and laid back atmosphere. Although the weather wasn't great all the time it didn't stop us from cycling around to explore the beautiful rugged coastline and swimming with Manta Rays.

Day Trip: Nusa Lembongan, Bali
We went on a day trip to Nusa Lembongan to explore the island. We took the boat from Sanur Beach that departs around 10 AM, and return to Bali at 5 PM.
We went on a mangrove forest boat tour, snorkeling and explored the island.
If you have more time, you should definitely check out Nusa Ceningan (connected by a small bridge) and Nusa Penida (known as the Manta Island)!
