Lemon Tour - Amalfi Coast Italy
A quick glimpse into the Lemon Tour offered in Amalfi. Speaking in this video is Carmela, who is part of the Aceto family.
Just before this video, Carmela had picked a large leaf from the tree and split it - passing it around for the group to smell the beautiful and strong lemon fragrance. If you stay to take the amazing cooking class, some dishes cook with these leaves.
Simple and Intoxicating, with unmatched awe inspiring, romantic views of Amalfi - this tour of the Lemon Garden was the best activity we did when we visited Amalfi. Its a must experience for anyone on vacation in on the coast.
Here is more information that we found about the tour when planning our trip:

Giant Lemons on the Amalfi Coast
Giant lemons in my garden in Positano!
I originally uploaded this to Positano Daily Photo on facebook but thought I'd share it here for those that don't have it (Dad).
Just a quick look at the giant lemons growing in the garden. Also known as Cedro.
Amalfi Coast, Italy: Serene Sorrento
More info about travel to Sorrento: Wedged on a ledge under the mountains and over the sea, spritzed by lemon and orange groves, Sorrento is an attractive resort; well-located both as a springboard for regional sightseeing and as a fine place to simply stay and stroll.

How Limoncello Is Made Using Huge Amalfi Coast Lemons | Regional Eats
Limoncello is one of the most popular Italian liqueurs. The yellow drink is made in southern Italy, in sunny Sicily, the Gulf of Naples, and the Amalfi Coast — mostly because these areas offer the perfect soil and weather conditions to grow lemons.
We visited Villa Divina, a villa on the Amalfi Coast in the city of Vietri with 600 lemon trees. Villa Divina supplies lemons to Pallini, a company established in 1875 in a small village near Rome that specializes in Italian liqueurs such as Sambuca and Mistrà. Pallini Limoncello production started in the '90s, and today Pallini makes almost 1 million liters of the lemon liqueur per year. The type of lemon used for making Pallini Limoncello is the Sfusato Amalfitano, also known as Amalfi lemon.

The famous mild Amalfi sfusato lemon
The characteristic lemon of the Amalfi coast with its prominent tip and edible rind, a staple of the medieval naval republic of Amalfi and the modern tourism industry in the area.
There is a lot of confusion about the citrus fruit of the region. I thought that Amalfi lemon is the same as Sorrento lemon and said so in the video but i got told that the Sorrento lemon is a totally different thing.

Here is day 5 of our Italian adventure! We go on a hike from Atrani to Ravello, thinking it would take 40 minutes which soon turned into 2 hours of walking up hills and steps - my legs - my legs!! Amalfi Coast Town Walking Tour in Italy Summer
The Amalfi Coast in Italy is one of the most beautiful coastline drives in all the world and certainly a must see attraction in Italy. This is a walking tour through the town of Amalfi. On this channel there is also a Road to Amalfi video that you can watch also.
802 Amalfi Lemons
To visit the Amalfi Coast is to taste lemons in every form. So what better place to visit than a lemon farm in Sorrento, overlooking the Mediterranean. Sara makes the Italian lemon aperitif, Limoncello, with a local culinary tour guide, then visits a spectacular lemon farm overlooking the Mediterranean, where we make the local farm cheese, caciotta, with lemon, and a homemade lemon pasta with an Italian grandmother.
Amalfi Coast Positano and Pompeii - Viator Tour - Italy Vlog
We get a bus through Viator and tour from Rome to Positano, enjoying the Amalfi coast. We then head back to Pompeii and see the eye opening ruins. Extremely full day but would recommend it to anyone!
