Revisiting the Glory Days With One of Japan's Most Violent Biker Gangs
Japanese motorcycle gangs have wreaked havoc since the 1970s. Known as Bosozuku, these gangs have a violent history, raging war against rival crews and cops. Gang members roamed the highways, sometimes hundreds at a time, with an array of brutal weaponry, customized bikes, and distinct crew jumpsuits. Being part of one of these motorcycle gangs was a frantic lifestyle, one that could easily lead to grievous bodily harm, and death.
Youth were recruited from their early teens to join the gangs under the mentorship of an elder. It was of utmost importance to protect the reputation of the gang, to never run from a fight, even when grossly outnumbered.
In recent years, with strict laws and police cracking down, Bosozoku have become nearly extinct. Yet for those who were a part of the subculture during its heyday, Bosozoku will always provide a fond memory of the recklessness of youth.

3x Ambulance EMS Kyoto/Nagano/Tokio (Collection) (HD)
Video compilation featuring ambulances of the Kyoto and Nagano and Tokio fire department responding in downtown.
Japanese ambulances are equipped with a hi-lo two tone as well as a wail siren and usually the crews make PA annoucements to the other drivers. This is very common in Japan, the purpose is to let the people know how they have to react and which way the emergency vehicle is going to take //

LIVING ON THE EDGE :

Odakyu Train ride, views of construction work
This was taken from the front of an Odakyu train going from Higashi-kitazawa station , through Shimo-kitazawa, Setagaya-daita and alighting at Umegaoka . It shows the new temporary platform at Setagaya-Daita that came into use on Jan 30, 2009 ( the night before the video was taken). The tracks were diverted on to new rails from a point approx 100m east of the station, (at 2:09 in the video) to just before Umegaoka (3:52 ). In addition you can see the working going on for what will be the new temporary west bound track after departing Umegaoka.
more details of Odakyu line :
more details of the Construction work for the project which is to move the existing two track line to four tracks all underground from Umegaoka to Yoyogi-Uehaha : ( japanese only)
A Day in Moriya with Ate Doris! (Watch in HD)
Moriya is located in southwestern Ibaraki Prefecture, bordering on Chiba Prefecture to the southwest. The city is surrounded by three rivers, the Kinugawa, Kokaigawa and the Tone River, one of the longest rivers in Japan. In terms of area, it is the smallest city in Ibaraki Prefecture. It is located approximately 35 kilometers from central Tokyo.
I travel whenever I get time to travel and people ask me the same question, Why do you travel or why do you waste money on travel and I normally look at their faces that what should I answer them cause anyway they will never get to understand the answer unless you do it yourself. Seeing is believing and I agree with everyone. It's education, exposure, learning, exploring, management, cultures, dealing, problem solving etc.
Life is short, so live it well! Travel, see the world, explore.
Dare to dream. Dare to be different.
Keep uploading, keep travelling.
