Lexington Cemetery | Graveyard | History | Subtitles | Kentucky | USA
In this video we are exploring the Lexington Cemetery. There are some really neat old graves here. The most famous belonging to Henry Clay, with his big monument which can be seen in the sky from the road.
This is a large graveyard with some beautiful head stones. Found within the park is a tree dating back to the civil war, very fitting for a resting place for soldiers of various wars.
This video is in English. If you are wanting subtitles, they are available in English, French, Spanish and Japanese.

Roadtrip #325 - I-85 North - North Carolina Mile 88-111 (Lexington)
Video #21 in the I-85 series, we continue north beginning at mile 88, in Davidson County in the city of Lexington. On a section of highway between mile 97 and 100, the travel lanes swap sides, with opposing traffic on the right. This accommodates rest areas in the median with standard right-hand exits. The rest areas are connected by a footpath, and the North Carolina Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park is located in between.
We pass through the city of Thomasville and then enter Randolph County and the city of Trinity. We conclude at mile 111 in the city of Archdale.

Two US servicemen, killed in Afghanistan, returned to US
(30 Nov 2018) The remains of two U.S. service members killed in Afghanistan were returned to the U.S. early on Friday morning.
The coffins of Army Capt. Andrew Patrick Ross, age 29, of Lexington, Virginia and Air Force Staff Sgt. Dylan J. Elchin, age 25, of Hookstown, Pennsylvania arrived at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.
The Pentagon says Ross, Elchin and Army Sgt. 1st Class Eric Michael Emond, age 39, of Brush Prairie, Washington were killed Tuesday by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.
The attack happened in Ghazni province, an area where the Taliban is resurgent. It was the deadliest attack against U.S. forces in Afghanistan this year.
Ross and Emond were assigned to 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group, based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Elchin was assigned to the 26th Special Tactics Squadron, based at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico.
U.S. Vice President Mike Pence attended the ceremony.

Wreaths Across America 2010, Sandhills National Cemetery, Fayetteville / Ft Bragg, North Carolina
Wreaths Across America occurs on the second Sunday of December in every state, Puerto Rico, and 24 cemeteries overseas. It was formed as an extension of the Arlington Wreath Project, which started in 1992. This is a video tribute of the Wreaths Across America occuring at Sandhills National Cemetery, Fayetteville / Ft Bragg, North Carolina. On December 11, 2010, Boy Scouts loaded a truck with wreaths near Cameron / Sanford, NC. Chewy (Biker Dog) and his driver rode with the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA NC 15-1) to escort the wreaths, Gold Star Mothers, and Blue Star Mothers to Sandhills, where members of the Patriot Guard Riders and other organizations and volunteers met us. Many thanks to the Harnett County Sheriffs Department for providing an escort for the wreaths. The background music in this video is from the US Army Band, US Army Strings, US Army Quintet, and the US Army Field Band and Soldiers' Chorus. Using music from a military band seemed appropriate. Since Chewy's driver is an Army veteran, he leaned towards the Army band. God bless our soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines who have gone before us, and God bless those who are serving now and who have served. For a central location of Chewy's videos, go to bikerdoggie.com.
