Mountain Bike Ride Along - Lincoln Woods State Park - Rhode Island
Hola! Welcome to El Snido's Toy Company!
This is the second of my rides from my trip this summer to the Northeast. Over a two-week period, I rode in six different states on a variety of terrain. The Northeast's MTB trails are different from the Midwest trails I normally ride. They have a lot of rocks and roots. One review of trails I read suggested that all rock gardens are born in the Northeast and then moved to other places. After my trip I think the writer was onto something. This not only makes the trails difficult, but it means that you really need to pay attention to which direction trails are best ridden. I quickly learned that I would need to research trails before starting and pay particular attention to the elevation profile of each trails. Once I got the hang of it I had a blast. The start of my trip however was humbling to say the least.
Today's video is my ride at Lincoln Woods State Park in Lincoln, RI. I rode a variety of trails and the parks was almost like a free ride area. It had multiple technical sections you could repeat over and over(Sessioning) using different lines each time. This was the second park I hit on my trip and I was just starting to understand the importance of directional travel in the Northeast. This day was turned out pretty good as I got better at using Trailforks.
This video is another ride along style of sound. I am using a lavalier mic on this one again. Overall, this type of sound rather than voiceover will hopefully add more realism and let you get a better feel for riding along. I kind of like it because it's more like being there. Let me know in the comments what you think of it (other than the panting) compared to my other videos.
About the Channel:
I've kind of set a bucket list for myself to ride in each of the lower 48 states. Of course, if anyone has free tickets to the other two I wouldn't say no. :-) Part of the reason for this channel is to bring my friends, family and anyone else along for the ride. I can describe where I go but that's nothing compared to seeing it yourself.
Another reason for this channel is that when I started riding about 20 years ago, I had no idea what a trail would be like other than the map at the trailhead. Hopefully some of these videos will be helpful for someone in that position who is traveling to a town I've visited and is interested in riding there. My upcoming videos will include some trails from Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York. The rest of the year I hope to cover more of the Midwest as well as a potential run through the desert southwest.

Hi Everyone, this is Inday Marissa again. Today's video I'm going to take you for a walk at the beautiful Lincoln Wood State Park in Rhode, Island. This park is a public reaction area. It's about 627 acres around Olney Pond. The park is known for its giant glacial boulders and stony nature of its terrain. The park was name in honor of President Abraham Lincoln.
The park offers freshwater beach, extensive picnic area, trails for equestrian, mountain biker, snowmobilers, hikers, boating and you do some fishing. Canoe and kayak rentals are also available. They also offers kayaking lessons.
You can buy very delicious fresh cook, snack, ice cream and drinks in the park next to the beach area. They also gave a new shower and bathroom area next to the beach area.
Please take note: No cooking allowed near the beach. They have a barbeque grill available to use for everyone in a designated area all around the park. Also make sure you bring your own trash bag and make sure to clean up and bring your trash with you as there's no trash can available in the park.
I hope you enjoy this video and if you do please don't forget to give me a thumbs up, subscribe and don't forget to click the notification bell. Thank you so much for watching.

Pileated Woodpecker in Lincoln Woods State Park, Rhode Island by Walt Barrett
This Pileated Woodpecker has been a frequent visitor to our backyard in Lincoln, Rhode Island. We live on the edge of Lincoln Woods State Park an have many bird feeders and see more birds in our yard than in the entire park. We also have a Bald Eagle fishing in our cove now but have not had time to film him yet. Our neighbor got a still photo which has been shown on TV 10 in Providence, RI

112 Jenckes Hill Road - Lincoln, RI
Every night when I return from a hectic day at the office, this house envelopes me and gives me a feeling of protection and comfort. It's really a wonderful place. These words, spoken by the current owner, describe the feeling you are sure to experience inside this Lincoln property.
This contemporary home is set back from the street and nestled in a very private, 1.8 acre setting. Trees, gardens, mature shrubs, perennials, and annuals guide you along the beautifully carved driveway with center island. Granite steps lead you to an expansive double door.
Once inside, soaring ceilings, multiple levels and an openness with a surprising coziness is what you encounter. Areas like the raised dining area can serve multiple functions, such as the perfect place for a grand piano. The expansive great room can accommodate even the largest of gatherings. With all this space, you can easily envision how you will entertain friends.
The gourmet kitchen with granite surfaces is well appointed. This spot is perfect for an informal get together with friends as well as your morning breakfast. Picture yourself sitting in the nook, looking out to the surrounding foliage, and watching the birds come to the hanging feeder.
Additional features, like the totally private master suite with its own balcony, whirlpool bath, and loft work space round out the living quarters. Two other bedrooms share a common bath down a separate hallway, and the lower level is completely finished with a wet bar as a recreational haven.
Out back you are greeted by an oversized deck, private gazebo, hot tub, beautifully manicured landscaping and an in-ground pool with its own cabana.
This property is a perfect escape with all the comforts for easy entertaining and enjoyable living. But when you want to be active, its location is perfect. Providence is about a ten minute drive. Breakneck Hill Road turns into Great Road, an area which has many historic homes, farms, and mills. Even more, you are blessed with many nearby recreation opportunities, such as the 630 acre Lincoln Woods State Park; the Blackstone River Valley Bike and Walking Path; and the Fairlawn, Lincoln, and Kirkbrae Golf and Country Clubs.
