La plage du Llevant se situe dans le centre-ville de Salou en Espagne ( Costa Daurada ). Elle débute au niveau du Cap de Salou et se termine au niveau du Port (1.2 km de long) .
La fréquentation est très importante en été, c’est l’une des plages les plus fréquentées de Salou. Elle est appréciée pour son sable fin et sa pente douce convient aux enfants. Elle est surveillée en saison.
Salou est principalement une ville touristique grâce à son climat sec et ensoleillé de juin à septembre. Toutefois , ce climat peut être changeant à cause d'orages les soirs d'été . Les périodes de beaux temps à Salou s'étendent de juin et juillet , avec un temps très ensoleillé presque tous les jours. Par contre , de septembre à mars , la ville reçoit énormément de précipitations avec une variante de 40mm d'eau par mois en moyenne . Les températures restent méditerranéennes, avec des moyennes estivales allant de 16 à 30 °C et des moyennes hivernales allant de 6 à 15 °C .
Salou (en ancien grec Salanrio : « ville assainie » et en latin Salauris) est une commune de la comarque du Tarragonès dans la province de Tarragone en Catalogne. La ville est située près des villes de Cambrils et de Vilaseca , et à environ 10 km de Tarragone et de Reus sur la Costa Daurada et à 112 km de Barcelone. En plus de sa chaîne de plages, du cap et de sa promenade paysagère .
Salou est séparée de Vila-seca le 30 octobre 1989 sur décision du Tribunal suprême. Pour les vacanciers qui préfèrent le calme , le Cap Salou à 2 km propose des vacances reposantes au milieu d'un site protégé qui a conservé un peu de son caractère naturel avec ses nombreuses criques .

In today's video, the travel turtles visit the beaches and seafront of Salou, this includes: Llevant Beach, Capellans Beach, Llenguadets Cove, Llarga Beach, Salou Harbour and Ponent Beach. We also visit the Salou sign and the seafront behind Llevant Beach.
Salou is a popular holiday resort in the Tarragona province of northeast Costa Daurada. This was historically used as a port by the Greeks and Romans and is the perfect place to stay if you wish to visit local areas in Catalonia. We recommend visiting Taragonna Old Town, Barcelona, Montserrat (Mountain) and Girona.

Salou is a resort town along Spain’s northeastern Costa Daurada, in the Tarragona province. Its beaches range from small, craggy coves to the busy main Llevant and Ponent strips. It's popular for Portaventura world theme park & water parks, windsurfing, sailing and golf. The Coastal Path, once used by fishermen like the one immortalized in a nearby statue, is now known for its sunrise and sunset views.

The main beach stretches either side of the port. To the East it's called the Llevant and to the West it's called the Ponent. In Spain there is a flag system on the beach to tell bathers when it's safe to go into the sea. A red flag means that you cannot enter, A Yellow flag means enter with caution, and a green flag means it's perfectly calm and safe to go in. the reasons that you may be advised not to go in the sea are usually because it is too rough, there are strong currents, or sometimes because there are jellyfish.
Starting to the west of Salou there's the Ponent beach. This is a long and spacious sandy beach that is popular with families. There are facilities dotted along it like cafes, showers and toilets, and there's a life guard patrol.
Following this you pass the port and come onto the Llevant beach. This is much the same as the Ponent and has plenty of facilities. There is also a beach carpark near the port. The Llevant beach has a gym, showers, toilets, volleyball courts, beach bars and cafes, and children's play areas. There's a walkway that runs parallel to the beach and behind that is a grassed area with palm trees. This is a popular spot for people to have picnics.
A ten minute drive out of Salou to the west is an area called Cap Salou. There are 3 little coves here that have life guard facilities and are next to a backdrop of mountains with pine trees. This is a very picturesque area. You will have to drive to get there from the main part of Salou, and it is quite a hilly area so you will have to walk down quite a few steps to get to the beaches.
The beaches in Salou are great for families as they are sandy and spacious and have lots of facilities such as play areas. There's plenty to do for people who like sport, and the sea is great for swimming. system means that you can rest assured you will only enter the water when it is safe to do so. There's also lots of café bars on the beach so you don't have to leave if you want to eat.

Avui hem anat a participar a una cursa solidària a Salou. Fa un dia explèndit. Ens anem a banyar a la Platja de Llevant. Sorra fina, aigua plana i gens freda ... Malauradament ens hem acostumat aquest estiu a gaudir de les onades i donat que aquí no hi habia cap ni una . Ens hem fet una parimera remullada amb la samarreta de la cursa per fer una mica més de propaganda. Doncs ens hem eixugat i cap a Mollerussa . Dia molt maco en general.
Today we have gone to participate in a solidarity race in Salou. It's been an explanted day. We are going to swim in the Levante Beach. Fine sand, flat water and cold genes ... Unfortunately, we have become accustomed to this summer to enjoy the waves and given that there was no one here. We made a mild sunburn with the shirt of the race to do something more of propaganda. Well, we have gotten dry and towards Mollerussa. Very nice day in general.
Hoy hemos ido a participar en una carrera solidaria en Salou. Hace un día espléndido. Nos vamos a bañar en la Playa de Levante. Arena fina, agua plana y nada fría ... Desgraciadamente nos hemos acostumbrado este verano a disfrutar de las olas y dado que aquí no había ninguna. Nos hemos hecho una parimera remojada con la camiseta de la carrera para hacer un poco más de propaganda. Pues nos hemos secado y hacia Mollerussa. Día muy bonito en general.
