I had a few days on the Isle of Skye again recently so decided I'd see what walking I could get in. The wind was forecast to be quite strong so the decision was made to stay lower than usual, so no Munros for me on this occasion. Can't complain though as it gave me the perfect excuse to do Sgurr na Stri, just a little one in height at 494m but with the most amazing views. It was a long walk in from Sligachan but worth every minute. 24km in around 7hrs and saw all 4 seasons in that time! I'm hoping to get back again in the summer and maybe camp at Loch Coruisk.
