Loen Skylift in Norway (FULL 6 Minute Journey)
Recently did a cruise through the Norwegian Fjords and the best part by far was experiencing the Loen Skylift near Olden.
As you can see from this video, the views are absolutely breathtaking when you get further towards the top of the mountain.

Today we are going to Oldevatn Camping to Kjenndal Glacier in Lodal Valley, Here we saw Ramnefjellsfossen Waterfall in Loen we visit the Loen Skylift and go upstairs for lunch and enjoy the view at 1011 meters high. After that we drive to #Briksdalsbreen Glacier because it is already quite late and bad weather we decide not to go further than the visitor center at Briksdalsbreen. Unfortunately, I was still a bit ill. But this was a great and a beautiful day ! What is #Norway Cool. #Roadtrip

Hoven Loen 2017 - Aerial Ropeway | Nordfjord | Fjord Norway (English version)
An Aerial Ropeway (cable car) will open in Loen, Nordfjord in May 2017. From the fjord station in Loen you can take the aerial ropeway up to 1011 meters. A restaurant and a viewing platform at the mountain station will be the starting point for a wide range of nature-based activities and adventures year round.

gondolbaner Banen er en såkalt pendelbane, det vil si at de to gondolene kjører vekselvis opp og ned. Banen skal frakte folk opp og ned fra fjellet hele året. Oppe på toppen er det utsikt mot Skåla, Lovatnet, Jostedalsbreen, Olden og Nordfjorden.

The mountains surrounding Loen and Stryn invites you to great ski touring and backcountry skiing with views of fjords and mountains.You have many summits to choose from, and even more downhill runs.
We highly recommend using a certified guide for your ski touring around Mount Hoven. Loen Active cooperate with IVBV/UIAGM/IFMGA-certified mountain guides. The guides will adjust the trip based on the weather and snow conditions. If you don't have a guide remember that all skiing is at your own risk, and make sure you have the necessary skills for safe skiing.

Loen Skylift opened on the 20th of May 2017 - a spectacular new attraction and adventure arena, at the inner part of the Nordfjord, in the heart of Fjord Norway. A Cable Car will lift you from the fjord to 1011 m. Enjoy the views of the fjord landscape - from the restaurant table, or while hiking in the mountains.
In the video you will see Mount Hoven with Loen Skylift and Hoven Restaurant, Loen Village with Hotel Alexandra and the surrounding area of Inner Nordfjord.
