Observation Deck of Nagoya's Tallest Building (360° degree view)
With 247 m the Midland Square (ミッドランド スクエア) is the tallest skyscraper in Nagoya, Japan (just a little higher than the JR Towers). It features a two-story observation deck with a cafe at the top from where you have an amazing, panoramic view over the entire Nagoya area and beyond. On a clear day you can even see the mountains in Gifu prefecture. Since the Midland Square is just across the street from the main station, it's a must-see for every tourist. Entrance fee for the observation deck was 700 Yen (about 7 dollars) last time I went there and I think it was worth it. Also very beautiful at night.
Some sights:
0:28 Mode Gakuen Spiral Towers (170 m)
1:11 Look towards Sakae district
2:26 Nagoya Castle (in the center of the green area)
2:43 It's raining in Gifu Prefecture
2:55 Nagoya Lucent Tower (180 m)
3:23 You can hear Japanese cicadas (how did they get up there??)
4:00 Nagoya Needle
4:12 JR Towers - left: hotel tower (226 m); right: office tower (245 m)
4:20 Shinkansen Platforms
Nagoya Underground (Cat Adventure) Tunnel
Nagoya underground tunnel from Nagoya station to Lucent Ave. Directions are at the end if you want to go see it! Just leave the front doors of Nagoya station and go straight underground to the Higashiyama Line. Instead of turning right for the line, turn left!

The illuminations around Nagoya Station and Nagoya Station will continue to add color to the city this year in 2019!
The locals will carefully introduce you to the illuminations in Nagoya, including Central Tower, a famous illumination spot.
There are a lot of highlights (date spots) for about a month in December.
In addition to the illumination of that “brilliant broccoli”, she is also surprised by romantic places such as “Great!”, “Beautiful!”, “Great!”

My Youtube Life & Selling Food in Japan (Laundry Vlog)
Laundry vlogs are for listening to as you do laundry. Today I answer the email of the most persistent viewer.
If you don't mind me asking, and I hope it hasn't been asked a million times already, but how viable would it be to sell food in Japan? Something like a small corner/street stand, or even selling in the neighborhood you live in or nearby town? Are there any licenses or permissions required to sell as a small time street/market vendor? In the USA there generally is, but in many neighborhoods there will be a household or two selling cakes or frozen drinks or whatnot essentially under the table, and it's not really illegal or punishable as far as I know. Is the same true in Japanese neighborhoods/communities?
Some background on this entire idea: I really enjoy growing fruits and vegetables, and am familiar with climate controlled indoor gardens (I have heard land is extremely expensive in Japan, so indoors would be a very doable method) and have even grown a few square watermelons before. I also enjoy baking, and make a number of different cakes/custards. (I make a ridiculous cheesecake) Would growing/baking these things with the intent to sell be easy enough to do? I can make them fairly lavish and with natural/real ingredients. Would I be able to sustain myself if I had a part time job while doing this? (not sure how hard it is to get a full time job there) After awhile would it be sustainable without a job at all? (assuming visa was covered some other way) I prefer to live with as few material possessions as possible, and don't really go out to eat very often, or watch television, so my cost of living might not be quite as high as some others. Oh, I can also make candy bars from scratch, as well as make my own home made wines but I'm sure there are all kinds of laws and restrictions with the latter. The reason I am even asking about these specific foods is because I have seen many examples of fruits and certain rich/decadent baked goods selling for much higher prices in Japan than they do in the USA.
Also, I wanted to say that I really enjoy your videos. They are both entertaining and educational. Keep up the good work!

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
Nanjing (listen), alternately romanized as Nanking and Nankin, is the capital of Jiangsu province of the People's Republic of China and the second largest city in the East China region, with an administrative area of 6,600 km2 (2,500 sq mi) and a total population of 8,270,500 as of 2016. The inner area of Nanjing enclosed by the city wall is Nanjing City (南京城), with an area of 55 km2 (21 sq mi), while the Nanjing Metropolitan Region includes surrounding cities and areas, covering over 60,000 km2 (23,000 sq mi), with a population of over 30 million.
Situated in the Yangtze River Delta region, Nanjing has a prominent place in Chinese history and culture, having served as the capital of various Chinese dynasties, kingdoms and republican governments dating from the 3rd century to 1949, and has thus long been a major center of culture, education, research, politics, economy, transport networks and tourism, being the home to one of the world's largest inland ports. The city is also one of the fifteen sub-provincial cities in the People's Republic of China's administrative structure, enjoying jurisdictional and economic autonomy only slightly less than that of a province. Nanjing has been ranked seventh in the evaluation of Cities with Strongest Comprehensive Strength issued by the National Statistics Bureau, and second in the evaluation of cities with most sustainable development potential in the Yangtze River Delta. It has also been awarded the title of 2008 Habitat Scroll of Honor of China, Special UN Habitat Scroll of Honor Award and National Civilized City.Nanjing has many high-quality universities and research institutes, with the number of universities listed in 100 National Key Universities ranking third, including Nanjing University which has a long history and is among the world top 10 universities ranked by Nature Index. The ratio of college students to total population ranks No.1 among large cities nationwide. Nanjing is one of the top three Chinese scientific research centers, according to the Nature Index, especially strong in the chemical sciences.
Nanjing, one of the nation's most important cities for over a thousand years, is recognized as one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. It has been one of the w ...
