HALONG BAY TOUR | Day Trip Cruise from Hanoi 2019
Day 32- Took a Halong bay 1 day tour cruise from Hanoi, Vietnam. We booked a 1 day trip with Dragon King Cruises and it was an amazing experience. The cruise we booked was among one of the cheapest and highest rated for the experience.
We found it at a travel agency in Hanoi and it fit all of our needs and budget. We were able to go from Hanoi to Halong Bay and experience a lot of what Halong Bay had to offer for only 35$, in my opinion that is a steal because Ha Long Bay is on of the most beautiful places in the world.
We did many activities in the tour among some of my favorites which were kayaking an underwater cave, exploring sung sot cave, and hiking titop island for some amazing views atop a mountain. Overall really great experience and one of my favorite days in Vietnam.

Vietnam Travel Guide: Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Ho Chi Minh
Gorgeous beaches, fascinating and complicated history, incredible food, lush nature; Vietnam is a country that truly has it all. Whether this country is first or fiftieth on your list, our travel guide has all the information you need to know if you’re planning (or dreaming of planning!) a trip to Vietnam.
Leave your expectations behind if you’re heading to Vietnam: here, you’ll eat noodles for breakfast, do your shopping in the middle of the night, and discover a country with a new story around every corner.
Hanoi more than delivers on urban excitement. If you’re looking for unique and mouth-watering food, the night markets of the Vietnamese capital should be your very first stop. You can enjoy a zippy ride on a scooter, all the street-food you can eat, and a night exploring the rapid development of this modern city. From trendy clubs to traditional puppet shows, experience a nightlife that’s all Vietnam’s own, and eat and drink the night away with locals and visitors alike!
Of course, Vietnam isn’t all fast-paced cities and rooftop bars. For a slower pace, head to Ha Long Bay and sail alongside limestone islets, with their lush rainforests towering above your head. The water is emerald-green, matching the vibrant greenery, and a sailing excursion here is like nothing else you’ve experienced before! A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the islets of Ha Long Bay are said have been thrown into the bay by a dragon protecting the people of Vietnam. Take a junk boat tour for a close encounter, or try scuba diving or snorkelling in the bay!
You’ll find a new adventure around every corner in Vietnam. From breakfast in the Bình Tây Market and a secret tunnel system in Ho Chi Minh City, to sailing along the Mekong Delta in a traditional basket boat, you can find your perfect trip - no matter what that looks like - somewhere in Vietnam.
There’s no time like the present to start planning an adventure of your own in this majestic country, so why not start today? Head over to TourRadar to explore the range of tours available, or watch more of our videos exploring Vietnam if you still haven’t gotten enough of seeing the beautiful views and incredible adventures you could be having.

Halong Bay Luxury Cruise | Signature Cruise
This Halong Bay Luxury Cruise was made possible by:
If you’ve never been to Halong Bay, you need to add taking a luxury cruise through Halong Bay to your bucket list! Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for a good reason. It is one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen! It’s filled with giant lime stone karsts that jut out of the water in every direction for miles.
The best way to experience the bay is by a luxury cruise. There are tons of cruise ship operators offering cruises through Halong Bay. The cruises range from cheap backpack boats to five start luxury cruise ships. Since visiting Halong Bay is most likely a once in a lifetime experience, we decided to splurge on a 5 star luxury cruise to ensure that we had the best experience possible!
We booked our cruise with Signature Cruise and we were elated with our experience. Seriously, we don’t have a bad thing to say about Signature Cruises, and that should mean a lot coming from me because when I splurge on an experience I am very critical. Also, the staff treated us like royalty! They made our experience even better.
Our luxurious cruise through Halong Bay started with an amazing lunch served while we were cruising to a floating fishing village. After arriving at the floating village we were rowed around the village in a row boat by one of the women who lived in the floating village. After our row boat ride was completed, we visited a pearl farm to learn how pearls are made. To be completely honest, this sounded kind of lame to me when I read it on the itinerary, but it was actually really interesting!
After leaving the pearl farm, we were taken back to the cruise ship. After an hour or so of relaxing and taking in the beautiful views of Halong Bay, we had a cooking class where we learned to make fresh spring rolls. After the cooking class we enjoyed happy hour with more beautiful views. After happy hour, a delicious five course dinner was served aboard the boat. After dinner I had the opportunity to try my hand at squid fishing. I got really lucky and managed to catch 10!

Luxury Travel Vietnam
With new luxury hotels and world class golf courses having recently opened or set to open soon, and the introduction of luxury train journeys, exclusive cruises and upscale private tours spanning the length of the country, Vietnam is fast emerging as a an exciting destination for the high-end traveller said Pham Ha, Founder and CEO of Luxury Travel Vietnam.
The Travel Experts of Virtuoso in the US just completed a trend survey of its member agencies, each of whom specialises in catering to the needs of luxury travellers, which came to the conclusion that Vietnam and Cambodia are the hot destinations in Southeast Asia.
Today's luxury travellers want to be entertained and stimulated, rather than simply pampered, and Vietnam offers a magical mix of tropical beaches, post-colonial charm, a string of world heritage sites, stunning inland scenery, a world-renowned cuisine and an a home-grown flair for hospitality.
Upscale tours today must offer off the beaten track experiences. In a post credit crunch environment high end tourists also expect efficiency, seamless travel, value for money and a return on personal values. Many will opt for short trips which offer a slice of local culture, a splash of adventure, and authentic experiences.
Upscale tailor-made tours in Vietnam now come replete with yacht cruises, helicopter tours, limousine services, and the whole nine yards. So where to start? We asked Pham Ha, the founding CEO of Luxury Travel (luxurytravelvietnam.com ), for the best choices at a cost of more than $1,000 per person per tour.
Number one is a helicopter ride and an overnight cruise to the mystical Halong Bay (two days, one night) with exclusive private charter helicopter and luxury junk. First you're picked up by a private limousine in Hanoi before flying by helicopter from Gia Lam heliport/ airport to Halong Bay where your sophisticated junk awaits. Tours are priced at $1,233 to $5,533 per person for groups of 1-6 persons.
The second ranked tour on Pham Ha's upscale list is 14 day trip to the most luxurious spas and resorts around Vietnam, which is now a bona fide competitor for wellness tours in Southeast Asia, with world class spas, centuries-old massage techniques, and delicious, healthy cuisine.
Starting from Ho Chi Minh City and ending in Hanoi (or vice versa), guests can enjoy wonderful treatments and leisurely stays at the best spa resorts -- there is ample time for you to focus on the treatments and wellness activities of your choice.
This tour takes in must-see destinations with stays at the finest spa resorts in Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Hue and Hanoi. How does a hot stone massage on a private beach at sunset sound? Tours go from $6,357 to $11,616 per person.
Pham Ha's third recommendation is a luxury tour to discover the hidden treasures along Ho Chi Minh Trail by road. A 29 day trip has been designed for discerning travellers seeking an adventurous and unique experience in Vietnam. Led by an experienced local guide, you will achieve a deeper understanding of Vietnamese culture as you travel from Hanoi to Halong Bay, Ninh Binh, Sapa, Quang Binh's Phong Nha Ke Bang, Thanh Hoa's Ho Citadel, Tuy Hoa, Quy Nhon, Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong Delta.
This epic trip includes stays at opulent hotels and resorts such as Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, Victoria Sapa, Paradise Cruise Halong, Emeralda Ninh Binh, to Sun Spa Quang Binh, Saigon Morin Hue, The Nam Hai Hoi An, Life Resorts Quy Nhon, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay Nha Trang, Victoria Phan Thiet, Park Hyatt Saigon and Victoria Can Tho. Tours cost from $6,054 - $13,346 per person.
Vietnam has also suddenly emerged as an international destination for golf with the opening of world class golf courses throughout the country. Luxury Travel offers a 19-day long Grand Vietnam Golfing Tour which goes from the north to south of Vietnam, with stops in Central Vietnam, and a helicopter trip from Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne, Hanoi to Halong Bay, and also including a cruise with Indochina Sails on the bay. Clients will stay at InterContinental Westlake Hanoi, Dalat Palace, Hon Tam Resort Nha Trang, L'Anmien Mui Ne, and Sofitel Plaza Saigon.
The tour includes rounds of golf at the Vietnam Golf and Country Club in Thu Duc district (Ho Chi Minh City), Ocean Dunes Golf Club (Phan Thiet), Dalat Palace Golf Club (Dalat) and Chi Linh Star Golf Club (Hai Duong). Golf packages go from $6,312 - $12,528 per person.
There is also plenty of flexibility for all tours. Travellers are free to request helicopter tours, cycling excursions to craft villages, scuba diving or snorkelling trips, reservations at the finest restaurants in the land, meetings with renowned artists, chefs and designers, shopping recommendations, spa reservations, tours with special-interest lecturers, and exclusive access to local activities and cultural events. When it comes to luxury tours, the sky's truly the limit.

BEST Ha Long Bay Luxury Cruise in Vietnam! Add THIS to your bucket list. Bai Tu Long Bay Tour with Dragon Legend:
Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular destination in Vietnam. Bai Tu Long Bay is the name of the area in the east of Halong Bay, Vietnam. This Ha Long Bay 2D/1N luxury cruise takes you around Bai Tu Long Bay, admiring the BREATHTAKING limestone islands along the emerald water.
Ha Long Bay cruise is one of the tops things to do in Vietnam next to seeing Sapa! It is SO GORGEOUS. Definitely do more days of the cruise if you can! Halong Bay luxury cruises usually range from $100-200. You can get a basic day boat tour for as low as $40. In my opinion, spend a little bit more money to get the whole experience of this site.

Things to do in Hanoi, Vietnam | vagabond vlog
My high school best friend Sharon and I decided to book an 11-day trip to Vietnam and Thailand. We did 3.5 days in Vietnam (Hanoi and Halong Bay), and 5 in Thailand! I packed only a carry-on for these 11 days (other days were all spent traveling) so you will see me wear pretty much the same outfit all of Vietnam (don't worry, by the 2nd day, I had ordered laundry service hehe).
Vietnam has always been a very special place to me because all my favorite people in my life are from there, I love the food, and its complex history has always drawn me in. Though this was just a dipping of the toes, I'm excited to go back ASAP.
It was 50-60s F which was pretty cold for an LA girl like me but otherwise, the weather was prime. :-) I think I spent about $3-4 or less per meal here which is WHY we were PIGGING out aLL the time !! I don't remember a lot of the names of the places we went to so if you know them, please let me know so I can write them down here!

Best Things To Do In HANOI VIETNAM - Hanoi Old Quarter MUST SEE!
Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam and is known for its stunning architecture and rich culture. In the heart of Hanoi Vietnam is the Old Quarter, where there are many chaotic narrow streets selling everything from household goods to street food.
Today we started out at Cau Giay Park before making our way to the Hanoi old quarter. First up we ate Banh Mi 25 old quarter and then went to the note coffee Hanoi. We tried the famous Egg coffee which originated from Hanoi Vietnam and it was amazing to our surprise. Across the road from the note coffee is the temple of Jade mountain. We finished up the day at banh cuon gia tryuen eating the rice pancakes if you are in Hanoi Vietnam you need to try these. These were just some of the best things to do in Hanoi Vietnam that we did in one day.

Why Ninh Binh (Vietnam) should be on the TOP of your travel bucket list
We decided to skip busy Ha Long Bay to explore Ninh Binh instead which has been described as Ha Long Bay on land. We have to say we have zero regrets. Ninh Binh turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of our Vietnam trip.
We start this vlog off with a tour of our accommodation. Located right at the bottom of the Mua Caves we stayed at Hang Mua Ecolodge.
Hang Mua Ecolodge
Address: Khê Hạ, Ninh Xuân, Ninh Xuân, Hoa Lư, Ninh Bình 430000, Vietnam
With a tranquil view of the limestone caves to one side and rice fields on the other it made for an excellent accommodation in Ninh Binh for 5 days.
Once we were settled in it was time to climb the peak of the Hang Mua mountain where we could get a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
The next day we were picked up by our Ninh Binh private tour operator - Tommy’s Travel Service. Tommy is a Ninh Binh local unlike many of the other Ninh Binh tour operators and he organized an awesome schedule for us. If you're planning a visit to Ninh Binh Vietnam, we highly recommend Tommy's Travel Service. He's a real nice guy too!
Firstly we visited Trang An for a boat tour. This is also the former set for the Skull Island scenes from the King Kong Movie (which have since been removed, so we were lucky to have seen it). We were rowed through various caves and canals and saw amazing scenery unique to Ninh Binh. From the surrounding limestone caves to the complex water systems that ran between, we left with the most wonderful impression of Ninh Binh.
Ecotourism Trang An Boat Tour
Address: Tràng An, Ninh Xuân, Hoa Lư, Ninh Bình 431995, Vietnam
Hours: Monday - Sunday 7AM–4PM
Following the tour of Trang An we head over to visit two tombs of former emperors of Hue followed by lunch then Phat Diem Cathedral which is a unique cathedral that has a mixture of both Vietnamese and Gothic French architecture.
Phat Diem
Address: TT. Phát Diệm, Kim Sơn District, Ninh Bình Province 430000, Vietnam

4 DAYS IN VIETNAM |4日間のベトナム旅
Direct flights from Fukuoka to Hanoi only take 3.5~4 hours, and run every Tuesday and Saturday, so when Tatsu got 5 days holiday, we knew exactly how we wanted to spend it.
We spent 2 days in Old Quarter, in the heart of Hanoi City, eating all the food, sightseeing, and hanging out with the cool volunteer tour guides from Hanoi Kids ( ). I mention that everything is cheap in Vietnam, but to give you an idea of just how cheap, our centrally located Hotel was $28 USD a night, for a room much bigger than any $100 hotel in Japan.
A bowl of Pho will cost about $2 USD. Tatsu and I could have a filling lunch for about $5 USD. Vietnamese Beer costs about $1 USD, and is a welcoming refreshment on a hot day.
Taxis can scam you, so you'll have to be careful and make sure they use the metre when you are riding, but we could get around town for on average, $3-4 USD per ride. Much cheaper than what we pay in Japan. The 40 minute drive to the airport cost $15 USD by Taxi. In Japan you'd expect to pay much, much more for the distance.
For our entire trip we budgeted $300 USD for spending for the two of us ($150 usd each), and we still had money left over by the time we got to the airport to fly back to Fukuoka. We aren't budget travellers and don't try to save money, so if you are someone who prefers to spend less money, it's definitely possible.
Then we took a tour to Halong Bay, a Unesco World Heritage Site, featuring over 1,600 islands. The scale was so vast and incredible, and the tour was really relaxing and a well-deserved break from our busy life in Japan. (Did I mention we had no WiFi, so we were totally disconnected during those two days as well!)
We booked with AClass Tours, and although we booked the Legend cruise, we got upgraded to the Stella Cruise, which was more expensive, nicer bedroom, for no extra cost. ($120 USD for each of us.) The $120 each covered the 3.5 hour shuttle bus round trip, accommodation on the boat (beautiful ocean-view suite), all the national park entry fees (maze cave, floating village), four meals (lunch, dinner, breakfast, lunch), free wine tasting on ship, and even my visa letter. (Canadians need to apply for a visa before arriving in Vietnam, Japanese don't. The company I booked through took care of my Visa letter for free with reservation of the cruise.)
I booked on
(This isn't sponsored by the way, I'm just writing this all down because when I was planning the trip I had a really hard time figuring out all this stuff myself. Hopefully this helps anyone who wants to plan their own trip!)
