Fresh Thai Foods at Krabi Morning Market. Maharaj Market, Krabi Town, Thailand
New Thailand videos every Wednesday. Subscribe: Krabi Morning Market (Maharaj Market) is in the heart of Krabi Town, behind the Shell gasoline station, not far from where the Walking Street Night Markets are on the weekends.
This Thailand food market opens at about 3AM in the morning and finishes at around 10AM. Be sure not to get there too late as some of the better items may have already sold out. 6AM to 7:30AM is a good time.
There are huge sections of fruit & vegetables, groceries, seafood, meats, chicken, curry pastes, dry foods, local snacks & sweets, as well as a large breakfast eating area. It has the best grocery shopping in the area and it's a great place to try some of the many local foods available in Krabi and some delicious Thai dishes. Some delicious Thai food is available here. Try the Khanom Jeen (noodles with a type of soup curry), it's a must, as is the Joke (rice porridge). Some clothes, plastic goods and kitchen ware are also available. It is definitely worth a trip to the Maharaj Market if you are in Krabi Thailand!
Or if you don't want to eat at the markets there are some great local Thai restaurants in the area that are open early.
The markets in Thailand are a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand, they're great places to visit. They're not like your Asian or Oriental Supermarket back home! And they're a great place to try traditional Thai foods, authentic Thai cuisine, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai foods in Thailand. And best of all, the food is cheap! Eating at markets is a good way to save money on your Thailand holidays or while you tour Thailand.
Love Asian food? Make sure you check out some Thai Food Markets on your trip to Thailand, it's one of the best things to do!
Thai food recipes call for fresh ingredients, so many Thai people do their grocery shopping every day at food markets like this and do their cooking using fresh ingredients, as do most hotels and restaurants. In Thailand people don't buy their groceries online and delivery service is limited at best. Thailand food markets are one of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai cuisine, or to buy groceries and fruit while you travel in Thailand.

KRABI TO PHUKET TRAVEL VLOG PART 3 |Maharaj Market Krabi Town|
Last day in Krabi before we had to catch our flight.
We stay at Sabaidee Hotel in Krabi Town. The Seven Eleven, restaurant, market, bus stop are just 3-5min walking distance.
There is plenty of fresh seafoods at the Maharaj Market in case to those love the BBQ activity.
We glad, that we managed to get the local bus to the Krabi Airport before the rain fall.
This is my 2nd time at Krabi and Phuket. Of course there was Island hoping kinda stuff on the first visit. Its A MUST! ????
So this time I just wanted to do casual activity, just explore and experience the local Thailand environment.
Hope you guys love the lil moments from us.

Krabi Town Night Market
Krabi Night Market (Krabi Town Walking Street or Thanon Khon Dern in Thai) is certainly the most important shopping event in Krabi Town. It is held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 17:00 to 22:00 in Soi Maharaj 8 and on the 2,000sqm plaza situated right behind Vogue Department Store in downtown Krabi. With something like 50 stalls selling a wide range of products and street food, Krabi Town Night market gathers every weekend an incredibly large crowd for such a small area. Started in 2013, this weekly event allows visitors to get a glimpse into southern Thailand life and discover local artisans and artists who come here to present their products. A night market would not be a night market in Thailand without tasty snacks to grab, so there is a multitude of Thai street food favourites to sample here while wandering around this lively market.

WALKING STREET NIGHT MARKET KRABI TOWN STREET FOOD & SHOPPING IN KRABI THAILAND
This is crazy and chaotic ! One of the best way to spend our weekend in Krabi Thailand is to do street food hunting at walking street night market in Krabi town area of Krabi, Thailand. The food is fairly cheap and we had so much fun walking there trying to figure out what to eat, because seriously there are so many kind of street food from Thai street food, Japanese food, Isaan style street food. This is also the first time Jimmy and Jimmy's father try famous thai mango sticky rice !

Thai food markets are one of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food, or to buy groceries and fruit while you travel in Thailand. Thai food has been heavily influenced by Chinese food so you will find plenty of familiar looking dishes. There are loads of Thai food markets and night market all around Thailand, and heaps around Krabi. At the markets you'll find so many Thai dishes on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! And in case you’re worried, eating Thai street food is safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it since I moved to Thailand in 2012, and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!
The markets in Thailand are also a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand. You can shop alongside the locals and learn what they buy and eat and try traditional Thai street foods, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai dishes in Thailand. You'll see the people cooking the food right in front of you. And best of all, the food is much cheaper than eating in a Thai restaurant. Eating at markets is a good way to eat cheap on your Thailand holidays.
Make sure you check out some Thai Food Markets on your trip to Thailand, and be sure to sample some of the amazing Thai street food that's available in Thailand! If you want to try some of the most delicious food in the world be sure to visit Thailand!

Krabi is a beautiful and relaxing place and its capital, Krabi Town, is an interesting little town. It has plenty of restaurants, shopping and nightlife, some great hotels and resorts, and it's an ideal place to base yourself to explore the Krabi islands and the rest of Krabi Thailand. There is plenty of nightlife with nightclubs, International & Thai restaurants and bars, and you’ll find a different night market open every night of the week. One of the things Krabi Town is best known for is its Krabi Walking Street Night Market which is open every weekend. You’ll find a huge range of delicious Thai food and Thai cuisine in any Thai restaurant in Krabi Town and there’s loads of awesome Thai street food outside on the streets and at the markets. There are loads of Krabi tours you can do from there: kayaking, island hopping, rock climbing, temples, national parks, waterfalls … Krabi has it all! Krabi Town is about 15 minutes from Railay Beach, 50 minutes from Koh Phi Phi Island and 2.5 hours from Phuket by boat; or 20 minutes from Ao Nang and 2.5 hours from Phuket by road or sea.
