Standing 200 feet (61m) tall with a top speed of 73 mph (117.5 km/h) this B&M (Bolliger & Mabillard) hyper coaster opened in 2016 as the tallest, fastest and longest coaster in Florida. The name Mako refers to the Mako Shark and the layout features a Hammerhead turn, named after another species of shark.

Mako is a steel hypercoaster manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida, United States. Upon completion, Mako became an anchor attraction to the new park area themed to sharks in general. It is located adjacent to SeaWorld's previously existing shark attractions, such as the Shark Encounter aquarium and its attached Sharks Underwater Grill restaurant. It is the first new attraction added to SeaWorld Orlando since Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin opened in 2013, and the first new roller coaster since Manta opened in 2009. Mako is a steel hypercoaster manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida, United States. Mako is named after the mako shark, though upon completion, Mako became an anchor attraction to the new park area themed to sharks in general. It is located adjacent to SeaWorld's previously existing shark attractions: the Shark Encounter aquarium and its attached Sharks Underwater Grill restaurant. Mako reaches a height of 200 feet (61 m) with a maximum speed of 73 miles per hour (117 km/h) and has a total track length of 4,760 feet (1,450 m)
Kraken Unleashed (named for the fictional sea monster of the same name) is a steel floorless roller coaster located at SeaWorld Orlando in the United States. Manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, the ride features a total of seven inversions including two vertical loops, a dive loop, a spiraling camelback (zero-g roll), a cobra roll, and a corkscrew. Kraken opened on June 1, 2000. It is also the world's second longest floorless coaster elongating up to 4,177 feet (1,273 m). The roller coaster has been refurbished and renamed to Kraken Unleashed with virtual reality. However as of 2018 fall season, the name Kraken Unleashed has remained, but the virtual reality experience is no longer available.
Manta is a steel flying roller coaster at SeaWorld Orlando. The attraction allows guests to encounter numerous species of raybefore boarding a manta ray-shaped train that takes them on a 3,359-foot-long (1,024 m) roller coaster ride above the park, reaching top speeds of 56 miles per hour (90 km/h). Designed by Swiss firm Bolliger & Mabillard, Manta restrains riders in the prone positionand features four inversions. The well-received attraction officially opened to the public on May 22, 2009. Their slogan is Dive deep, fly high….

Today we went to Sea World Orlando. It was the first time either of us visited this park and we really enjoyed all of the roller coasters they offer.

Sea World Orlando FL | Manta, Kraken, Mako and Infinity Falls
Dawn and Tyler spend a day of their Orlando vacation in October 2018 over at Sea World Orlando. The original plan was to spend half a day there and head over to Aquatica, but riding the rides at Sea World was such a blast, the day was spent there. We started off the day just right by riding Manta, and what a ride!! The best place and most forceful (if that's what you are looking for) on this ride is the back row! Next we explore some of the animal exhibits, sting rays and manatees, as we head towards Kraken. We take our ride on Kraken, then stop off to feed (and talk to) the seals and sea lions while making our way to Mako. After riding Mako, we finally (and this was the main goal for this visit) make it back to Infinity Falls. But, we hit a few obstacles (this is nothing new for us... anytime there is a new ride we are trying to make it on we run into issues!!). While waiting to return to Infinity Falls, we make our way back over to see how wet we will get on Journey to Atlantis. And finally at the end of our day, we DO make it on Infinity Falls.
