Things to Do in Palma de Mallorca Spain Majorca Cruise Stop
I'm sharing things to do while your cruise ship visits Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Majorca is an island a distance away from Spain and is quickly becoming a popular cruise stop for Mediterranean cruise ships. Mallorca is mountainous and FULL of shade trees making things to do in Palma so much more pleasant. We visit a bakery that makes ensaimada pastries which are only made on this island.

Spring Break in Mallorca
This quick trip to Spain, Palma de Mallorca was so refreshing. I initiated the little one to Girly Holidays which I hope she takes with some girlfriends when she's older, and if I'm lucky I'll be cool enough to be invited along :). Port Andratx has amazing villas for rent and the views are just spectacular from sunrise to sunset, nothing short of amazing. Spring time is honestly the best time for travelling with a baby to Mallorca - no tourist crowds and mild pleasant weather so a light layer of sunscreen is all you'll need.

Palma De Mallorca Spain Travel Guide | The Unpretentious & Conscious Way | HER WHY by Laura Fama
HER WHY by Laura Fama Presents | The Unpretentious & Conscious Guide to Palma De Mallorca, Spain
WHY?
I love to travel and check out new islands in my country. Palma De Mallorca is my favorite new island it has a sense of magic. It's affordable, unpretentious, and very low key. Unlike the party island nearby such as Ibiza, Palma is a great getaway island for families and couples. You'll find bent medieval streets lined with aristocratic townhouses, looming baroque churches, teeming public squares, vibrant bohemian hipster neighborhoods and markets overflowing with all the bounty of the island. You could spend weeks in this city alone, and still uncover fresh things every day. It was wonderful to spend my birthday here and I really can't wait to go back. I will miss the food, the water, and mostly the friendly people, and magic the island vibe gives off.
“I love Mallorca because this island has been created from the same energy than the love”. Dalai Lama.
*I give this island a 4 out of 5 ratings*

Crossroad of Old Streets of Palma de Mallorca, Mallorca, Spain from Travel with Iva Jasperson
Crossroad of Old Streets of Palma de Mallorca, Mallorca, Spain from Travel with Iva Jasperson
Hello everyone...
The historical center of Palma is the oldest part of the city. It is also a refreshing area to walk in on one of Palma's hot humid days: the streets are narrow and shady. You will get a chance to peek in at a number of private courtyards. Personal guided tours can be arranged with private guides to take you around and explain inside the main sites. In addition, the historic center has a lot of attractions.

Cala Formentor Beach, North Mallorca
A wonderful strip of sandy beach in the north west of Majorca
Cala Formentor is one of the most beautiful spots on the island and as a result, is very popular. It's situated in the north west of Majorca, on the Bay of Pollenca and is a Blue Flag beach.
With a stunning backdrop of pine forest and views to the mountains, it is easy to understand the attraction. The turquoise blue sea is crystal clear and the beach is made from very fine white sand. It does stretch for around 850 metres so you may be able to find a spot to spread out. Trees overhang the beach so there is plenty of shade in the hot summer months.
There is a public bus service and a car park (€5 parking fee), or a more relaxing way to get there is to take a boat from Port de Pollenca. The bay is also popular with private boats thanks to the beautiful surroundings and excellent anchoring conditions.
You can read more about the beach at Formentor in our Beach Review or about the time we took a Boat Trip from Port Pollensa to Formentor Beach.
The nearest resort to Cala Formentor is Port de Pollenca.

I lived in Mallorca for a few years and with confidence, I can call myself a Mallorca expert when it comes to beaches. Lost Islamic History In Palma de Mallorca, Spain Muslim Traveler
Muslim Travel Vlog - When it comes to Palma de Mallorca or former Madina Mayurqa it is not halal traveler's or the first pick of Muslim youtubers. Though not filled with Islamic monuments, it still holds a bit of Islamic history that dates back to the 10th century. This Balearic island is home to many practicing Muslims, when we visited the mosque, you'll see in the video that it was filled with worshipers during the Jumma prayer. There are halal restaurants available throughout the city but around the Arab Quarter, it was in every corner. Hope you like our work, looking forward to your feedback, Salam!
