Los lunes en Manacor lo riega un gran mercado donde los turistas y foráneos acuden, unos a comprar y otros a mairar que es mas barato y entretenido.
Manacor es una ciudad y un municipio de la isla de Mallorca, en la comunidad autónoma de las Islas Baleares. Situada al este de la isla, es la capital de la comarca de Levante y la cabeza del partido judicial homónimo.2
En el año 2010 contaba con 40.859 habitantes.3 Su término municipal tiene una superficie de 260 km² y una densidad de 156,96 hab/km² y se encuentra situado a una altitud media de 80 msnm. Por su población, Manacor es el tercer municipio de la isla y el segundo en cuanto a superficie.
Los primeros indicios de presencia humana en los territorios que hoy en día ocupa el término municipal de Manacor se remontan a 2000-1200 a. C. De este período destacan las cuevas artificiales como lugar de enterramiento (cova de s'Homonet en Son Ribot, Mitjà de ses Beies en Sa Sínia Nova, etc.), y las navetes, construcciones aisladas o agrupadas en poblados, utilizadas como habitáculos (sa Marineta, s'Hospitalet Vell, etc.)

Manacor is a town and municipality of the island of Mallorca in the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. The hardest decision I ever made in my career and possibly the saddest. Carrying the flag at Olympic is unique. Sad but I will continue working to maximum to try to be in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and carry the flag like I really wanted. Mallorca/Spain - Winter escape in low season
How to travel Europe? Especially during winter. There are still some great and warm places in Europe you could visit. For example Mallorca / Spain. This was my first time on Mallorca. We visited Mallorca during low season in January 2017 for a quick winter escape and it was great. As I haven't been to Mallorca before I realzied it is great place to travel to! Spanish lifestlye (tapas, tinto de vereno and churros) and culture, sun, beaches and it is really cheap! The landscape is stunnig, especially the very east and the very north west!
During low season your holiday could be really cheap. We paid € 72 for ur flights (each) directly to the airport of Palma Mallorca (easyjet). We rented a car for €42/6 days, had a great airbnb apartment in the center of Palma de Mallorca (€65/night) and used Google offline maps to drive around the island.
We visited great places like El Molinar, Valldemossa, Portocolom, Cap Formentor or Port de Pollença.

Storm Lashes Spanish Island of Mallorca
A winter storm lashed much of Spain for a third day on Tuesday, January 21, leaving 200,000 people without electricity, schools closed and roads blocked by snow as it killed four people.
Massive waves and gale-force winds smashed into seafront towns, damaging many shops and restaurants.
Much of the northeastern province of Gerona was without electricity Tuesday because of a fault in the power connection with France, emergency services said on their Twitter account.
Many schools remained closed in the northeastern region of Catalonia as well as the Valencia region further south and the inland region of Aragon. (AP)
