2013年（平成25年）10月11日～14日に山陰地方（島根・鳥取県）を旅行した。60年に１回おこなわれるという遷宮年である出雲大社への参拝が最大の目的であるが、他にも多くの場所を訪問した。
そのうちの一つが島根県松江市の松江城の横にある松江護国神社である。松江の郷土の連隊がフィリピンにおいて、立派に戦われ、多くの人々が亡くなられた。英霊の方々に感謝をするとともに慰霊をさせていただきました。

松江護国神社 (Matsue Gokoku Shrine)

今回は島根県松江市に鎮座する松江護国神社を紹介します。
護国神社は東京都九段に鎮座する靖国神社と同様に国家のために殉難した人の霊（英霊）を祀るための神社。靖国神社が日本全土の英霊を祀っているのに対し、各都道府県にある護国神社はその都道府県の出身ないし縁故の戦死者を主祭神とするところに特徴があります。
今回紹介する松江護国神社は国宝に指定されている松江城の址地に鎮座しており、明治維新後の国難に殉じた旧出雲国・隠岐国出身の戦没者22,000余柱を祀っています。
Matsue Gokoku Shrine is a Japanese Shinto Shrine in Matsue, Shimane, Japan.
The shrine is designated to the 22,000 people from Izumo and Oki Islands who died during wars.

松江城にある小泉八雲も愛した二千体のきつねがある神社
小泉八雲は通勤途上に散歩がてら、ここ城山稲荷神社に立ち寄りました。
当時二千以上を数える石狐があったのを、八雲は大変珍しがっていたようです。
なかでも隋神門前にある大きい石狐は特に気に入ったもののようです。
その狛狐は痛みが激しく、境内右に安置されています（上の写真です）。
そして、八雲の愛したきつねを再現しようと、市民の力で２００４年に、
門前に２代目のきつねが製作、設置されました。

そのうちの一つが松江城！堀尾氏が建て、後に京極、譜代の松平となり松平の時代には10代以上続く。江戸時代はじめに建てられ、明治維新後に取り壊される予定であったが、松江藩士や地元豪農の嘆願てわ天守閣は存続。400年前に建てられた城。
日本国内に１２ある現存天守の一つ。国の重要文化財。戦前までは、国宝だったのだが、現在、国宝に戻るように活動がおこなわれている。
内部に入ると江戸時代の面影が脳裏をかする

Shinto is a religion originating from Japan. Aspects of Shinto have also been incorporated into various Japanese new religious movements.
There is a ceremony of Shinto in Itsukushima Shrine, Hiroshima.
As you can listen the music of Shinto, very traditional and remarkable music that can represent Japan. Also, you can see the Shinto uniform in the video, and the process of ceremony. Very nice can watch the ceremony during my trip in Hiroshima!

となります。神話からの歴史と共存する島根県。魅力が少しでも伝われば幸いです。

The Sengu year once in '60 to 2013. It is over 90 years old when you greet then. I do not know how alive, and do not know whether a body integrity even alive. 行き帰り共に中国道と米子道、山陰道を使用。米子道は全面、無料になった。
出雲大社参拝後、山陰道を宍道湖を訪問し、夜の湖面に浮かぶライトアップされた鳥居を見る事が出来た。翌朝も宍道湖の景色を堪能。

サンフランシスコからはＵＡ（ユナイテッド航空）を利用して関空（大阪）へ！大阪は５か月ぶりになりますが、久しぶりに大阪在住の友人に会います。（京都も久しぶりに訪問を検討）

松江護国神社～松江神社
松江護国神社
昭和10年（1935年）に島根県招魂社建設奉賛会が組織された。昭和14年（1939年）3月に松江招魂社として創建・鎮座したが、同年4月、招魂社の制度改革により松江護國神社となった。第二次大戦後は島根神社と称していたが、日本の主権回復後の昭和28年（1953年）に元の社名に復した。
松江神社
御祭神が松平直政公（松平初代藩主）、堀尾吉晴公（松江開府の祖）、松平治郷（不昧）公（第七代藩主）、更に徳川家康公という、かつての松江代表＋日本代表を祀ったスゴ神社となっております。

そのうちの一つが鳥取県境港である。がんちゃ屋という料理屋でがんちゃ屋定食を堪能！海鮮三昧！見慣れない魚たちを堪能！美味しかった。

Tottori Prefecture is Sakaiminato is one of them. He is fluent cancer tea shop set meal in the restaurant of cancer tea shop! Seafood galore! And enjoy the fish unfamiliar! Was delicious.

その敷地内にある「城山稲荷神社」へ参拝してきました。
境内周辺に、無数の狐が奉納してあって
不思議な感覚が味わえる稲荷神社でした。
