- The recipe of Banana Stem Salad includes Spring onions, Pomegranate seeds, Red Bell peppers, Basil leaves. The dressing is composed of Orange juice, Parsley, Green chillies and Coriander.

3. Jalsa Fast Food: This is a 28 year old shop, serves authentic Mumbai Pav bhaji, shop is famous for Pav bhaji and Paneer Bhurjee. I enjoyed Pav Bhaji at this shop.

4. Dadar Surati Farsan Mart: This is more than 60 year old shop, famous for Gujarat and Maharshtrian snacks. T
Here are many Farsan shops in Dadar, this one is a hiden gem. I enjoyed corn roll at this shop. Corn roll and samosa are two famous snacks at this shop.

5. Tambe Arogya Bhuvan: This is more than 50 year old Maharashtrian food joint, serves lunch, dinner and snacks.
I enjoyed sheera at this place.
Best thing i liked about this food joint was its ambience, look and feel itself was as if you are at authentic Maharashtrian food joint.

6. The Belgian Waffle Co: This street food joint was a complete surprise, I enjoyed Waffle with ice cream, this is surely a food to die for.
I was told that that the shop is just one year old but so many customers were enjoying waffle at this place because of its unique taste.

2 days of Street food journey during which i covered 6 food Joint was amazing. In this food journey i covered south Mumbai from Fort to Dadar.
It was not possible to cover Mumbai street food in such a short time so i spent more than 10 days in Mumbai to thoroughly enjoy the food.

Hi! Im Shweta and this video is about my Banana Leaf South Indian Thali experience in Mumbai. Matunga is an area that served the most authentic South indian food in Mumbai and I thought of filming the famous A Rama Nayak Udipi Shri Krishna Boarding Thali experience. Eating on a banana leaf is common across Indian culture and especially in South India a banana leaf Indian meal is what is very common. While there are a lot of options to eat thali in Mumbai, an authentic south Indian thali is quite rare in Mumbai and this is the best place to enjoy it.
