We tried out the worst reviewed hotel challenge and it was something else. We found this hotel online and the reviews were not good! We showed up and first thing we notice on the security cameras were cops down the street, we were not in a good part of the neighborhood. Our hotel room was stinky, creepy and just not good quality. There were holes in the walls, stains on the sheets and noises coming from the hallway! Would you try out this challenge and stay in the worst reviewed hotel?!

Singing instrument
In a tiny office overlooking the Creative Arts Center's student lounge, vocal perfection is being created. Jasmine Easler’s voice spills out of the second-floor room, into the lounge below and the Creative Arts Center Commons. “She’s an amazing singing instrument, she’s an amazing artist,” said Jamie Cordes, senior lecturer of theatre arts and voice teacher. Easler, a senior musical theatre major, was the recipient of an ArtsGala scholarship as well as a Tom Hanks scholarship. “I think the ArtsGala scholarship makes a huge impact in peoples college experience at Wright State,” she said. ArtsGala draws nearly 800 patrons each year to enjoy an impressive program of student performances in theatre, dance, motion pictures, music and visual arts. During its 16-year history, the annual event has raised $2 million and created over 50 scholarships for the fine and performing arts students. If you’re interested in supporting talented students like Easler perform in this year’s ArtsGala, visit wright.edu/artsgala for information and tickets. More at

Ferrante & Teicher Album With Unbelievably Romantic Video Scenes! (Extraordinarily & Astonishingly)
Ferrante & Teicher were a duo of American piano players, known for their light arrangements of familiar classical pieces, movie soundtracks, and show tunes.
Arthur Ferrante (September 7, 1921, New York City – September 19, 2009), and Louis Teicher (August 24, 1924, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania – August 3, 2008) met while studying at the Juilliard School of Music in New York. Musical prodigies, they began performing as a piano duo while still in school. After graduating, they both joined the Juilliard faculty.
In 1947, they launched a full-time concert career, at first playing nightclubs, then quickly moving up to playing classical music with orchestral backing. Steven Tyler of Aerosmith relates the story that in the 1950s the two students practiced in the home of his grandmother Constance Neidhart Tallarico. Between 1950 and 1980, they were a major American easy listening act, and scored four big U.S. hits: Theme From The Apartment (Pop #10), Theme From Exodus (Pop #2), Tonight (Pop #8), and Midnight Cowboy (Pop #10). They performed and recorded regularly with pops orchestras popular standards by George Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers and others. In 1973, they did the Hollywood Radio Theater theme for the Rod Serling radio drama series, The Zero Hour.
The duo also experimented with prepared pianos, adding paper, sticks, rubber, wood blocks, metal bars, chains, glass, mallets, and other found objects to piano string beds. In this way they were able to produce a variety of bizarre sounds that sometimes resembled percussion instruments, and at other times resulted in special effects that sounded as if they were electronically synthesized.
Both men were initiated as honorary members of Tau Kappa Epsilon at Central State University (now University of Central Oklahoma) while on tour.
Ferrante and Teicher ceased performing in 1989 and retired to Longboat Key and Siesta Key, respectively, close to each other on the west coast of Florida. They continued to play together occasionally at a local piano store.
CDs of their music, some of it not previously released, have continued to appear.
Louis Teicher died of a heart attack in August 2008, three weeks before his 84th birthday. Arthur Ferrante died of natural causes on September 19, 2009 at the age of 88[10] (he had once said he wanted to live one year for each piano key). Arthur is survived by his wife, Jena; his daughter, Brenda Eberhardt; and two granddaughters. - Wikipedia

Erik Satie - Gymnopédies
Erik Satie - Gymnopédie No.1
Satie was introduced as a gymnopedist in 1887, shortly before writing his most famous compositions, the Gymnopédies. Later, he also referred to himself as a phonometrograph or phonometrician (meaning someone who measures (and writes down) sounds) preferring this designation to that of musician, after having been called a clumsy but subtle technician in a book on contemporary French composers published in 1911.
Éric Alfred Leslie Satie (French: [eʁik sati];[1] 17 May 1866 – 1 July 1925), who signed his name Erik Satie after 1884, was a French composer and pianist. Satie was an influential artist in the late 19th- and early 20th-century Parisian avant-garde. His work was a precursor to later artistic movements such as minimalism, repetitive music, and the Theatre of the Absurd
Satie was a colourful figure in the early 20th century Parisian avant-garde. He was a precursor to later artistic movements such as minimalism, repetitive music and the Theatre of the Absurd.
The Gymnopédies, published in Paris starting in 1888, are three piano compositions written by French composer and pianist, Erik Satie.
Since 1911 he had been on friendly terms with Igor Stravinsky, about whom he would later write articles.Le piège de Méduse (1913) had a unique position in Satie's oeuvre, as it was a stage work conceived and composed seemingly without any collaboration with other artists.Sports et divertissements was a kind of multi-media project, in which Satie provided piano music to drawings made by Charles Martin. The work was composed in 1914, but not published or performed until the early 1920s. The individual pieces are characteristic Satie miniatures: in all, there are twenty pieces - none over two minutes in length, and some as short as 15 seconds. He got in trouble over an insulting postcard he had written to one of his critics shortly after the premiere of Parade; he was condemned to a week of imprisonment, but was finally released as a result of the (financial) intercession of Winnaretta Singer, Princess Edmond de Polignac.Singer, who had learnt Ancient Greek when she was over 50, had commissioned a work on Socrates in October 1916; this would become his Socrate, which he presented early in 1918 to the Princess.
